I am sending the Traveling Grampypants onward to YAK today. The kids all put paint handprints on his shirt for him to benember us by. Or not, since he many never actually WEAR the shirt.

I haven't had flannel sheets since college. So they sounded comfy and I bought some this week.

My kids loved it too! I know about the cactus. That poor little baby! ANd all the little ones that kept falling...awwwww.

Flannel sheets here, although dh and I play thermostat wars and I win, always....LLBean has great flannel sheets guys. They do not get all pilly.

I turned the A/C on last night. It was 60 at about 9 PM and it's supossed to get up to 79 today.
I sleep so much better when I'm cold.
Regulating the temp in this townhouse is going to be hard. The downstairs stays just right, the upstairs stays hot.

And for anyone out there who is interested: My kids learned about Moses and the 10 Commandments this week. My mom told me to lock my jewelery box...... prudent advice after what happened with the manna.

And I don't think you should worry about the jewlery. But you should get them some paving stones and some permanent markers and they could make their own tablets!

and then break the tablets in anger!

well lunch is finished and I can smell the italian sandwich stuff still.....it was delicious and the kiddos liked them too......the corner store makes the best ones...I had less then the half......so I did good....my bs was 81 and that is really to low for me before lunch time....oh well..

we did flannels years ago but for the last 27 years in January......we have been in a wonderful warm water bed.....WE are on the second bladder .....and we love it still......when weather gets cold we turn up the water a wee bit more...we just finished adding more water and the conditioner ......and then burping it .....so that is done for the next six months...hubby has a bad back and this warmth from the water gets him out of bed each morning..Even megara jumps in with us when she is cold......the three of us ...OY OY OY

oh oh oh....dont throw your stove away yet......did you check the fuses in it....I think that there are fuses too that are inside the electric stoves......besides the one in the electrical panel......I just thought of that.....

Angel thinks she took two vitamins accidentally and was asking if she'd be ok.

Water soluble ones like vitamin c are ok.
Fat soluble ones like Vitamin d are not.
But two vitamins shouldn't kill you.
Make sure there's no more than 100% of the different ones. You don't need more than 100% a day.
If it has more than that, get a new kind.
The water soluble ones will just leave when you go to the bathroom.
The fat soluble ones will build up.
I hope twinkie's around today to correct any mistakes in the above.

If they do spread manna all over your living room, I'll send over Clifford my BIG red dog...he's WAY more efficient than a Hoover and doesn't charge extra to "clean" off little messy faces! He sounds exactly like Scooby Doo, though, so you may need his sister, Amber, to serve as interpretor too. Her specialty is cleaning floor boards and pooting (farting for you yankees) on cue! Handy for long winded chatty patty guests! Rhut Rhoh!!
