Especially since I read that this is the last season for SG-1. Sniff, sniff. . .
I hear that. Although Jericho and Heroes both have some potential. And we are only a couple of weeks away from BSG season premiere. That's Battlestar Galactica for you non-sci-fi types.

Haven't seen Jericho yet (totally missed it last night and I still haven't forgiven myself). But Heroes is cool. Yahoo! has the full episode on their Fall Preview.

And another thing, season finale's of both SG's tomorrow night. I really don't get Sci-Fi Channel's season schedule.

Hey if I'm Venkman and Marky is Ray, you could be Egon. (Sher's got here Gilligan thing going. We could do our Ghostbuster thing.)

Here ya go, Tink, pretend it's from B.

Good grief, I'm a thread hog. *oink oink*

Where did you play, B?

My dad played in Whitey Herzog's tourney on Monday - can't remember where, though.

St. Albans Country Club. Whitey holds that golf tourney at a club about 5 minutes from my house. It is called Forest Hills. We joined St. Albans because it is more kid friendly, has two championship courses instead of one and serves genuine Imo's pizza. :rotfl:

Well, at least I'm not the only one. AND, they released the 2nd half of the 2nd season Tuesday on DVD. Hubby and I got hooked by watching all of season one and the first half of season two in the last month.

Need to check netflix and see if we're getting that this week. . . .

Well, I've heard of both. But for the pizza alone, I'd join St. Albans :teeth:

Lacto --I saw Jericho last night, I thought it was pretty good. I will watch next week if I can remember, To much on tonight at the same time. Survivor, CSI, Grey's and ER.

Hi Utah Momma:

I'm BDG. I'm from South Dakota. (originally)

Darn glad to meet you. I like to golf. Too much.

BDG
I lived in North Dakota for 18 months. I know what COLD feels like.

I am the best at golf (mini) !!

I used to go to Rams games when they were in California. Back in the day.
Which dates me, I'm afraid.

North Dakota is cold. My sister lives in Fargo. She teaches orchestra. It is cold. I'm glad you are good at minigolf.

Did you just say that you dated the Rams?

Didn't say it wasn't clever. . .which it was btw. . .just that it might have gone unnoticed by others seeing as it got no comments before mine. . .just sadin'. . .tinkie--winkie. . .winkie-tinkie. . .

You know that you are just flirting with me because you are afraid of my temper. (C'mon. Admit it. You're SCARED To see the eyes glow blue, aren't you?)

Thanks for the sledge hammer, B and Brandt. I kicked it off the floor using both legs.(the fax sits on my desk)

Rhonda - I knew that. That's why I said MOST. SEE? REmember AOL? No. Hmmpf. Toddler. Don't you go gettin all saay on your elders just because you have a sassy haircut, young lady.

Happy baby to you!

As you can see, I'm new to the boards, but I've been reading your trip report. I can't wait to read your first trippie with little vettebaby!

Someone sang me a song! :teeth: How awesome! I'd sing you one, but I kinda like my neighbors.

Thanks!

Strum - we have found that it is much more efficient to wash ours in a washing machine and then dry them in a drier.

I lived in Jamestown. It's booger and frozen eye balls cold in ND. It's Penguin and igloo cold.

Actually, I suck at mini golf too. All sports. Bumper bowling, pool, Texas Hold'em, Rock/paper/scissors, "I'm thinking of a number", "I Spy", Soccer, Ram's dating, etc.

Given that I was a missileer of the apocalyptic kind, Jericho doesn't hold much intrigue for me. Too somber.

CARP! Season finales for the SGs? They do a split season, so I think these will simply be mid-season finales. Strange way of doing a season, but the early start (which they helped pioneer years ago) was to gain viewers prior to the main fall season on the networks. We DVRed the last two Fridays, so we have some catching up to do.

I'd love to be Egon! He's nerdier and smarter than me, but I do own glasses. So, Venkman, time to let Ray know of our little group? lol

At this rate, we might have a 900 woo hooty tonight. See? Only 37 more pages!!!

And I lived in Minot for nearly six years. . .I'm sure you know the old adage, "Why not Minot?" The answer: "Freezin's the reason." It's not the cold so much as the wind. . .you're all the time sucking down Montana's dust and snow. . .

This means that we have posted almost 100 pages in one week.

Hey B - I saw that little Eagles remark in your edit a while back. I'd like to say something smart in return, like any good Philadelphian would, but I'm not a native. So I'll wait until we see how they play on Sunday without Kearse or Westbrook before I say something I might surely regret. Sorry non-pro-football fans!

Also B, the municipality I work for owns a golf course that has often been voted a fan favorite in the local rag - er - newspaper.

Go ahead, say it. And, put your money where your mouth is. They are 6.5 pt. favorites at home against the 49er's. Even w/out Westbrook and Kearse (The Freak).

No thanks, I think we've wasted enough time on this topic for today. :rolleyes1 There don't seem to be many Maelstrommers interested in the pros.
