What a lovely day in these parts! Clear (I can see three different counties from my study atop our hill), breezy, and a slight nip in the air. . .down to the high 30s tonight they say. . .as if weather forecasters EVER get anything right here. Kenyan AA was excellent, as was my homemade banana bread (the tastiest recipe o' the land), and it's eight days to DCL time.

Ash: I have yet to watch the rest of S60, but plan to do so today. Doc said the latter half was better than the first half. For the record, I am also an NCIS and The Unit fan and thought the opening episode of each was fine. Not so much Smith which wants you to root for the bad guys. And. Ray Liotta has always looked like he wears too much make up. . .just sadin'. . .

Strommers, I really do believe that my hairdresser is a channeller (sp?).

Either that, or I am, and do not know it. I did my hair today, and with this cut it looks sort of like "a big brown football helmet," only since I flipped the ends, it looks like "a big, brown football helmet with nun wings."

Hence, one of us is clearly channelling (sp?) Sally Field. Ok, so, technically she's not dead. If you saw my hair you would agree, none the less, that it is so her today. In a weird sort of "Steel Magnolias meets The Flying Nun sort of way."


Off to go find me some bleedin' armadillo cake....
