To assist in planning for trips next year (2007) this is the forecast for Florida from The Old Farmer's Almanac:

Winter will be warmer and drier than normal. Expect temperatures to be slightly above normal, on average, and rainfall to be well below normal. The coldest temperatures will occur in mid- to late December, early January, and late February, but a damaging freeze is unlikely.

April and May will be much drier than normal, with much-below-normal rainfall, stressing crops and lawns and increasing the threat of fires. Temperatures will be near or a bit above normal.

Summer rainfall will be above normal, lowering the fire threat but not making up for the accumulated rainfall deficit, especially with temperatures slightly above normal, on average. The hottest periods will occur in mid-June, most of July, and early and late August.

September and October will be cooler and drier than normal, with temperatures cooler than normal, on average, and well-below-normal rainfall.

However... I couldn't get it to work. It kept saying " Image is not available" or words to that extent. And I tried to play around with those two sigies. For about an hour last nite.

I wanted to combine them both. Use both but make it my own. You know?

I ended up with Frick's mansion. Shelbie's "mel happyhaunt" green lettering and ONE chandelier.

I couldn't get the frickin' thing (the head) to work. NOF.

100 posts on the daily riddle...silly and you are SO not in if you don't play there with me (not l) and the others once in a while....the wooohoooty is in half the siggies. Now others have taken the woohooty to pump up other milestones...Unfortunately Rhonda waited for Mark to woohooty, but he regularly woohooties by himself, putting her own woohooty at risk, however today they had a joint woohooty due to perfect timing....ahhhh. Oh, and grammy got 6 woohooties, at least, out of 800 on fridays riddle. She is still smiling....

So in July of 2006 I decide to post my trip report. From 1998. Yep. You read that right. It is all good. Twinkies have a really long shelf life. And UtahMama posted on my thread. But what I noticed about her was her siggie and what she said about raising children (it is like getting pecked to death by chickens). And that spoke to me because while each of my children has come to me through great travail and I know children are the greatest blessing and I would willing lay down my life for all or any of my kids….

But there are days when I do feel like I am being pecked to death. By Chickens.

And as time goes by I see her around the TR board. And her posts are funny. And without even noticing how it came about we start PMing each other. About our kids. About our roles as former career gals turned stay at home moms. But mainly about juicy threads. We both love juicy threads. And there were some doozies this summer. Good times. Anyhoo- then she posts her PreTrippie. And it is flippin funny folks (say that five times fast- or better yet take the time you would have used to do that and go read it.)

In it she mentions that her husband is tall, thin and likes Goofy and that they have 4 kids so family of 6. She quickly attracts a following and people start calling her UM. And then this guy with a recent join date and one post shows up ……and his siggie has 6 bouncing smilies. Goofy4UM. This is not rocket science and I am a nice gal so I say hi to him. Or actually what I say is Hi. I think I know who you are! It is about time you showed up.

Utah replies that she doesn’t know him. In a PM about something else I say to her basically ‘fess up. I know Goofy4UM is your DH. She denies it and goes so far as to say that this guy creeps her out and she is kind of worried about it. She wants to know if I think she should contact the mods....

Then Goofy4UM posts again on Utah’s trippie… this time he has only 5 bouncing smilies and a picture of 2 guys (shall we say they are not tall and thin) and 3 kids with Mickey. He writes that he doesn’t know who I am but he is from Cali and he and his SO have 3 kids and love Disney.

Now I feel like a big stalker. And I seriously regret my choice of words. ”I think I know who you are” is creepy dee indeedy. So now I feel the need to PM Goofy4UM to explain that I thought he was Goofy for Utahmama. And that is what I meant. And I didn’t mean to be a stalker. Of course my DH does not like the idea of me PMing strange men. He is convinced that you are all unmarried bald guys living in your mother’s basements intending to lure me from my happy home. That you all pretend to be housewives and lawyers and Canadians just to get to know me, because I am all that and a bag of chips. What can I say? That is one reason I married him (the tall, dark and handsome part was just a bonus)….. he really sees me as that wonderful. So I have to explain to him. In detail. What has happened and who posted what and why I now need to make amends so this guy in Cali doesn’t think that I am out to get him. So I PM Goofy4UM and he replies with more details about where he is from and how he likes Disney.

And I PM Utah to tell her what has happened and how my DH is concerned…..

But she is too busy laughing manically and posting it on her trippie.
That she punked me.
Because of course Goofy4UM is her DH. The details were all true (he is from Cali and lives with his significant other (Utah) and they have 3 kids… the oldest is just hers)…. The picture in the siggie was stolen from some one else’s photobucket.

So the joke was on me.


Even though she is a big pranster I really miss her. She is Lucy. I am Ethel. I hope she is having a great time at WDW.
