As everyone may know by now, I don't do morning shout outs. Not my yob. (Quick, name that TV series!) I do do (not to be confuzzled with poo, poot, or puffer) morning grump outs on occasion. . .such as today's topic--moles.

I hate'em. With a passion. They serve absolutely no useful service other than to raise my dander, ire, and blood pressure. Throw out everything you may have ever read about moles from so-called experts, too. They must breed like rabbits; they aren't territorial as best as I can tell; they tear up manicured and untreated lawns and fields alike; they can't swim worth puffer; and they grow to be the size of rats. I realize they are one of God's creatures, but I still hate'em. They are ubitquitous, and there is a plethora of them in my yards. Did I mention I hate'em? Between them and the yeller jacks this year, summer has been some kind o' fun.

We now return to our regularly scheduled program "Maelstrom: Fastpass or Urban Legend?"

S-T: My day is already better if I caused someone to laugh. As for the moles, they've been a constant thorn in my side for the last four years. Though the progress is slow, I'm gradually winning. Anyone have any recipes for mole (not to be confused with mole')? Sorry, horsey. . .
