Morning Fastpassers!!!!!

I am in the Great state of WV.. It is cool and damp which forced me to shop for extra sweatshirts for both Hayley and myself...sigh... I so hate shopping.

I may have to do some new algreba when I return. We might have to do a legectomy also since I have eaten every decandent dessert that has been offered. It might just be easier to sew my lips together

It seems our buddy Ernesto managed to pack a punch at the estate since we have left. According to the 1st hand reports we lost a couple of hundred trees in our little community, and there was alot of damage around us, but my little summer home seems to have escaped unscathed I am EXTREMELY thankful I wasn't there cause I may have had to shop for more undies

Will be traveling tommorrow and will catch up when I return. Seems I am entertaining more relatives on my return on Tuesday so I might be on skim mode for a few days.

Happy Labor Day!!!! early and the days are rushing past till the meet, just as I predicted. See ya all soon.

Pongo-- I'm so jealous of your shopping trip. I would love to go get some nice looking work clothes but we have a horrible dress code.

Okay, I have spent half the morning trying to catch up, but since I have been MIA since the beginning of the summer...and really totally out of touch since just after Pongo's wedding (congrats again, BTW) I am LOST.

Completely. Totally. Lost.

Oh well. Jumping right back in. Or I will be in a few days once the kiddos head back to school! (FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

I need you guys to cheer me up. I am wolley (probably played...but that was still IN the last time I was around). We had to cancel our trip to Disney for XMAS. There are lots of reasons why we had to cancel. Some not fun reasons...but I won't get into those here. And the reason that put the final nail in the coffin was that DD will be having her first ever official gymnastics meet in December. (Smack dab in the middle of our trip). She is SO excited, and has been working so hard all summer (hence my absence...someone has to drive her to all her practices you know).

So anyway...anyone wanna try a recap for me? No way I catching up on a few weeks worth of pages on my own...

WB 2IAB! Sorry to hear about your cancelled trip. Hope the happiness of DD re: her meet makes up for it. A little bit, anyway. Not a lot of recap necessary, me thinks. A lot of senseless posting to hit woo hooties, a few newbies, a health scare (thankfully, happily resolved) for Tink's Knit, Pongo's marital bliss (of course), some re-entering friends (TG!), and lots of meet anticipation (sorry ). It's probably not as hard to catch up as you think, as we have pages and pages of "Did we get to 10,000 yet?" posts. Lots of bad math calculations. And lots of Flagging by the enforcer.

ED! Great pics. Makes me miss the ship(s). Just spoke with a friend who got off the Freedom last week. Tells me it is phenomenal, and even puts the Voyager series to shame. The former isn't hard to believe, the latter is, but I may have to check it out for myself one of these days. (After my next 3 WDW trips are over, that is!!!)

Morning to everyone else. Just finished watching POC with the family. The first one. Believe it or not, I'd never seen it. Loved it. Reminded me, in many ways, of our beloved Princess Bride. Best line? "But why is the Rum gone????" Love both Orlando and Johnny. But Johnny the most. I am a Stones girl, after all.....

Off to make lunch. Happy Sunday. Which is especially happy because tomorrow's a holiday!!!!

HI ASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I never told you I love saturdays best too, cuz Sunday night is an icky night, I agree. EXCEPT on holidays! I was thinking of you today knowing you will be happy all day and night not to have to get up and trudge to the grind....


I forgot to tell you all. Guess who came to visit me yesterday? My little new friend Lala the squirrel! Yep. My cat, the very same one, brought her in again. She made an escape under a blanket chest and peeked her little face out, only to be swiped at by 2 cats and Chloe, the cockerspaniel. I herded the vicious hunters away and tried to get out the critter (whom I thought was just a fieldmouse). After about a half hour, I let the pets back in and bam! They went straight to the spot where the critter had been. I thought it was long gone. NOPE! So I sat there trying to help plot the rescue. And just like out of a cartoon, as the cats and dog had their noses glued to the spot and their butts in the air trying to inch further to the smell, I watched little lalasquirrelie girlie run out without being seen, and run out the open door to escape unharmed! It was like Sylvester and Tweety or the Road Runner....Cracked me up. No pics as it all happened too fast.
That poor lil baby, not sure why she keeps ending up in the mouth of my cat!

Horsey! Great squirrel story. Me thinks she needs to find a new place in which to hang out. Those cats are on to her. She's lucky she has a Horsey hero to protect her, but one of these times, she may not be so lucky......

Made lunch for the boys. Jay wants to take me shopping. Which means I have to take a shower. And venture out in the rain. BUT...it's SHOPPING. So I don't think I can refuse. The fact that I have not yet eaten could be a good one. Perhaps I will have a slightly better time fitting into things?? Maybe? Even tho I went out to dinner last night? Maybe not. Evilly (is that a word??), I am happy to hear that Grammy is pigging out in WVa. My chubbiness needs company!!!!

See, God made little critters to be e't by big critters.

Them's why them's cute little kitties have such sharp teeth and claws.

Sometimes, though, kitties like to play with their din-din. And they need approval of their masters. Just like 4 year olds.

And husbands.

So, the circle of life is taking place in your house. Pat the kitties on the head, then let them chomp on squirreLa. Then for fun, watch the cute little puppy chase the kitties around the house.

You know now what's on their mind.

The birdy stated only a few specifics: no super dad sundae at 50's anymore, no add on skewers at Spoodles, and Chef's de France got rid of something and added, get this, a hamburger?????

For the rest, I guess you would have to already be familiar with the menu to see if your favorites are still there.

It's odd that a number of the table service places have had some kind of change based on allearsnet. I didn't have the menus memorized, so I couldn't tell you the changes. But quite a few of the menus have been "updated" according the site.

k' doomonger. I HATE THE FOOD CHAIN!!!!!!!!!!! I HATE THE CIRCLE OF LIFE! I HATE human and animal suffering and cannot tolerate thinking about it. I will not stand by while my cruel cats torture a squeaking creature who is in agony. Being a man of the cloth, one would think you would embrace my love of all things. Now let me go back to having my head in the sand.....Hmmmmph! Vegetables and bread more than keep meat on these bones, to say nothing of wine.....

The Firm workout tapes, judas. PMM and I both use them, as does my best friend. They are a real work out and don't require much space or money. I just cut back on eating and reduced carbs, increased protein and water, and eat less after 4 pm. Working out is key to losing weight. Diets in general do not seem to work and I have seen many people gain it all back. Good luck!
