I found this in my inbox last night. It's from a good friend:

How do you answer that?

My stab at the reply included:The only simple answer is: there is no simple answer, to buy the Unofficial Guide and to go to Universal for the second day.

Tell them to go to Six Flags and the Zoo. It would be cheaper and they wouldn't miss anything. :smooth:

No, let them know how you honestly feel about AK (I don't know, just saying that some like it and some don't). Then tell them that MK is a not to be missed experience, even if the kids don't know the Mouse.

If they aren't into thrill rides, there are plenty of other attractions to hold their attention (I don't believe you mentioned ages but it still holds true).

If all else fails, put them before this august (or september/october) group and let us regail them with the reasons to stretch their two days into a 2 week extravaganza.

IMO

I don't know much about cameras. I do not have the mad skillz that Sher does.

In truth I am not even a rank amatuer (nor a good smelling amatuer (although drebert makes sure I bathe regularly)).

But I like my Konica Minolta Dimage Z5. They are not in production anymore but I picked up a refurb through ubid.com for $150. 12x Optical zoom. Anti-shake. 5 Megapixels. Great video and audio recording. Smallish. SD card. Great screen quality.

Got pretty good reviews from the know-it-all reviewers. And its fun to use.

I get some decent life out of my Rayovac rechargeables.

.02 worth

Hi All!

Sorry I had to skip out so suddenly last night.....it wasn't you Sher!!

Amy - sorry I missed you! I think light blue are A-OK. I've seen lots of 8-12yr old boys up here with pink and orange.....no kidding! I think, they think it's cool to have a "off gender" colour. Maybe it's just us fun loving Canucks. BTW Jack has frog green.

Pooh - WELCOME BACK!

Now, Where's Chappie?

Spectro - I feel you pain with the gymnastics. Venting is good, we don't mind! My DD recently said about her 4 times per week ice skating, "Mom, next year I don't think I'll play Soccer because it's a lot of driving for you, I'll just stick to one activity for now" So there, Gym-Mom's!

Next step: We would like the cheapest way to spend 2 days (we will be driving there). My kids don't like superfast roller coasters or princesses and don't know who Mickey Mouse is, but they love animals and nature. I'm guessing Animal Kingdom is the best place for us. But what to do the second day?

:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

I am without words....

Minnie
WOOHOO!!!!!!!! AP rates are out thru December
- don't tell Mark and Rhonda..... :lmao:

Sher -

Hippy Dippy and FC... here we come.......... :drinking1 I'll bring the fanny packs!

Have a good afternoon all!

Did you check SWA's regular internet fares for Oct?
They were as low as the Ding fares for me. Go look.

Hi Haley...

Good to see you, too !!!

I've checked. It's about $177 pp R/T . Hoping to do better.

PASLEA POOH: Hey Mama! How's the Poops? We missed having the Poops. Everyone kept asking "When are the Poops coming back?" Glad to see ya back Woman.

GA: Hey, I forgot to say this a few thousand pages back but I love that Belle gown you made for Audrey. It's beeyootiful. You got made skillz Girl.

MG: You still PMSin Dude? Put that studded swimcap on and take a couple laps. You got some fierce competitors that are looking for the gold. You know you're not Chinese.

Tinkinadrink: Don't be wolley. I'm one to talk, huh? I don't have any sage words of wisdom for you other than to tell you to just hold onto em for as long as you can. Kiss him lots and hug him lots.

KPK: Wolley? It's the opposite of yellow. Duh.

La! Good to see you girl. Thanks.

Do you have an opinion on powder blue crocs for a 2 yr old boy? (since I can't find navy or sea blue. But Sher is checking for me. Right?)

Amy~

I was just thinking of you. PM sent, btw.

Although, after that edit, I may just take it back!! :teeth:

Hi guys!!

Getting my one hit in for the day since we only have one computer at work that has internet. (Remember I live in BFE).

GA--I don't think I would put him in powder blue crocs. I think it is a little girly but I also understand not being able to find shoes that fit.

YAK--Cool for boys to wear girly colors in Canada? Hmm I knew there was a reason not to go there. J/k LY/MI

Hi Pooh...welcome back!

Spectro--Don't know who Mickey is!?!? What?!?! I would slap him first and then tell him to book a week and soak up the whole experience.

Okay, here's the thing.

The only kids I've ever seen in powder blue Crocs are girls. So I guess I would lean towards the no. Only because I associate the powder blue ones with girls now.

How about the khaki or brown colored ones? Can you find those? A friend of mine has a little boy who's three and he wears the khaki. They're cute on him.

OFF TOPIC (hahahaha !!! )

PLUS... I read somewhere where the Hallmark store sells crocs. Can you believe that ?? Hallmark !!! It's worth a try.

They do! I got Sydney's there! She has the 8/9's, but I do recall that they had the 6/7's because she tried some on and made me cry that they were already too small. Good luck, Kitty!

I never claimed to be a superyduperysecretagent type. I thought it was some sort of Southern thing. (Like grits.) :rotfl:
