Whew - Took me two hours to catch back up tonight. I was out with DH at a car show this evening that was held for the first time in conjunction with our little town's annual festival.

They closed two blocks of the main drag and a couple side streets and had all kinds of cool cars parked there, with a bus playing oldies in one block and live country music in the next block. Hubby parked his 65 Barracuda for a couple hours. Very fun. Hope they make it an annual event!

Belated congrats to Steph on her well deserved tags, anniversary wishes to Ash, woo hooties to YAK on 11111 and to Frickles for her new bling.

Also enjoyed all of Tink's new recipes (especially the one for the layered dip, that could work well for office potlucks), Sher's Aretha story, Dre's cute pics, and everybody else's cleverness and hilarious bickering!

Sorry, MommyP, the placenta was pretty gross, but it's nice having you back!

LaLa - I PM'ed Pooh last night to say hello and that I missed seeing her around here and she said she's been pretty busy with the kiddos and Hoop lately, but it was nice to know she was missed.

Well, apparently she was a squirrelymommie.

Meet junior. Heir to Lala the Squirrel. See how tiny and helpless he is? Bobbycat brought him in tonight, alive and put him down. At which time I picked him up.

I cannot sleep as he will be devoured.....and I have no cage for him. I do not trust he can get back to mama. We have a wildlife rescue, but I cannot go there until morning. Am I to hold him all night? I dare not sleep.

I am in love. This tiny baby is adorable, and never tried to bite or get away. He did play dead. with the cats, not me. I have fantasies of taking him to Disney with me, in three weeks, in my purse, and on my shoulder, like a parrot, only a flying squirrel....

Where is my Steve Irwin now?
