I have had a great time looking at the pictures from the IS meet this weekend. Looks like you all had a wonderful time and you are all beautiful women.

By the way, Sher - I usually keep a safety pin in my purse. For wardrobe malfunctions that were not there when I was standing still in front of my mirror. Just a thought. ;)

Seriously - those pictures were great. And Pooh - that man of yours is one good lookin' fella. Yep, I said it. Hoopie is a hottie. :thumbsup2 And it seems he is a sweetie, too.

Marky Mark!! Forget the TR, I'm off to read your political debate. You brave, brave man.

Shelby, great pic in your siggie. Love it. And you too, Drebert.

Take care all,

NM :sunny:

Hey NM!!

What makes you think it was a malfunction?? :teeth:

Yes, had my first night of "I have to go to bed early so I can get up at 4:30". So I was in bed by 9:15 or so. That's AFTER I took the train home, met up with my sister, visited my grandmother in the hospital, came home, made dinner (well, with help from DH, who grilled), made a batch of South Beach Diet mini quiches (love those!), and made about 5 dozen cookies for DH's office bbq today. It was then 9:00. I checked the thread, showed Jay Hoopie's Sher poem (LOVED IT!!), then my internet connection froze (could it have been the poem?!?). So I took it as a "sign" and went to bed.

2IAB, where is your gym? That commute sounds even worse than mine! (Because of the kid factor....) Today was better, and I got here a little early. BUT I had to get up at 4:40 or so, and left the house at 5:45. I don't think I can continue long term, especially in the winter!

Mark, what kinda trouble are you getting into now? You rabble rouser, you! I am not a redneck, but I loved the rake idea!!

Shelby and Drebert, love the new photos!

Pooh, how come you removed hooPie from your siggie pic? Love the one of you alone, too, though!

Tink, feel better. You and Sid can bond on the horrors of tummy testing!

Pongo, wacky gifts are always welcome up this way too! I'm just sayin'

Everybody else, have a great day!!!

Mark - Don't you know better than to stay off the rest of the community board? :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: :teeth:

Morning all!

Shelby and Dr. Dre/Lacto - love the new pics!

My cousins, that's it? We get to guess what happened all weekend? (Psssst, if none of them intend to write a report, which one of us wants to write it? It would probably be a lot richer in detail if someone ELSE wrote the report anyway, right? Accurate? Probably not. But Entertaining!)

Max - so good to see you enjoyed the Spa.

Lou - I can't believe you didn't post the clown after it was REQUESTED. You only like to catch us offguard, dontcha?

Tink - I'm so glad you have made a Dr's appointment. You have us all worried, girl! Please take care of yourself. Prayers and Pixie dust!

Everyone else - you're in my thoughts, often. I wish I could stay up later at night.

(And Mark - read the whole thread. You know how I feel. But, I simply don't engage in the debate on these boards. It is pointless. Like you said, no one is going to change minds here. Well, okay, you might make some of the lurkers think a little, so there may be some value in it. But anyone who will actively engage in the debate is not going to alter their views. I'm not fond of banging my head against brick walls or tilting at windmills, so I avoid it. But it was entertaining, and you made some excellent points.)

I've got a friend who I've managed to get hooked on the TR board (Horsey spoke with her on Saturday night!!), and I wanted to give her links to Mel's original and LaLa's reports. They have both apparently "fallen off" the board, from what I can tell. Also, unbelievably, I didn't see links to them (only mentions!) on Ally's favorite TR thread. Can anyone give me links???

THANKS!!

Steph I am so glad that you posted this --- I must've missed it when Sid posted it before. I'm a geek with you, sister. the monorail shpiel.

Good morning all!

I'm off to find some pictures of a certain meet...

And then I might try and go find a certain debate I've been hearing about...

And Lou NO CLOWN PICTURES!

Good Morning All you regular Sickos and you Sick Lurkers !! :teeth:

Grammy... Chocolate Hazelnut in POOH mug. Thinking of you too. :teeth:

Dont' remember what red wine Sher drank. It was a mild one. It Might have been Galen Glen Red Tale. It's a bit sweet. I use it sometimes to make Sangria .

Poohbear~

Funny enough, I do think that was it. But, we bought two bottles. One red, one white.

I think. :teeth:

You might be a redneck if.....
Drebert! Love the pic. What a beautiful family you have! :goodvibes

Insanity Sisters --- (I'd like to be a cousin too, please!) ----- you are full of it if you think we'll let you get away without at least a mini-trippie. You can leave out anything that might get you in trouble.

SO, it might be a short report, but we don't care. :teeth:

Tink, I hope the dr can figger out what's up with you! Fajita churning is just not right. ((hug))

Haley, I'm sorry about your friend's dad. ((hug)) for you too.

Here's a spot of good news. Well, to me. I found my Mickey Head Wine Stopper!!!! Well, I didn't. Conor did. In the bottom of the toy basket. It's been missing for months, forcing me to ((gasp)) FINISH each and every bottle of wine I opened because I had no proper way to re-cork. :teeth:

Hurray for the little things in life!

Okay, I am weird. I just read this and I saw Zzub's instead of all Z's.

Thought to myself - now why would she want us to hurl all night? She DID say she liked us, right? :teeth:

Sweet is not wine; sweet is juice. Any bottle that has tale or tail or alliteration in the title is immediately suspect. Next time, you guys should hire a sommelier or wine steward. . .someone with a bit of knowledge, a bit of daring, a dash of the debonair, and a little bit mysterious. . .not that anyone like that immediately comes to mind. . .

MG! Welcome back. How was the dentist yesterday? Loads of fun, i'll bet.

I TOTALLY had your back on Z's thread while you were gone, BTW. Sadly, he was having none of it.

Hey. I tried. :confused3

Thanks for the concern, Tink, but I did not, in all actuality, have a dentist appointment yesterday.

I added that bit in Zubb's thread for a little comic relief.

By the way, he missed our appointment this morning...I think he's chicken.

....to Pooh, MG, and Kitty (who PMed me with a wealth of info). I knew I could count on you guys!! May have to get DH to read some of these before the meet, too!!!

I am so behind. Haven't even had a chance to look at ZZUB's thread. Or the blogs. Or any recent TR updates. It's only Tuesday and I need another WEEKEND!!!

Dawg and Sher, enough with the wine whining, k? I don't drink any of it, so there :teeth: To each his own!!! Coffee, too. Hey, I don't drink that, either! Think it has anything to do with my need for conflict avoidance?? (Unlike SOME people around here!!!)
