I'll bring the out of this world hummus and crackers for late night snack. I think it goes with all kinds of beverages.

HI Everyone!

Haven't been around for a few days.

Sorry, saw the helecopter once but don't think it was looking for me. A few white vans too. Or are they red, or blue....oh well 4th of July is coming.

So, 15 pages!

Pongo - thanks for your 2:13pm post today! Whew! I felt exactly the same. Like I stepped into the twilight zone... Your post made me feel better!

2I - sorry to hear that you are the meanest Mom. However, I beg to differ! Around these parts, I'm the Meanest Mom. ;)
However, your DD's line, "You made me bleed my own blood" I'm sorry that was :rotfl2:
I hope he's feeling better now.

Haley - Thanks for the spreadsheet! Wow

Amy - I didn't know you normally packed heat? :rotfl2:

Tink - way back on Friday - :rotfl2: for the church letter.

NAB - How was Wonderland? DD wants to go REAL bad this summer. Also great page turning.....but too fast! Hee-hee

Good to see some of the regulars checking in. And some Newbies
Welcome Brat Tink and Mrs. Chainsaw....hee-hee I meanGerri and the lurker who was so sick....sorry I'm too lazy to go back. Welcome!

Horsie - that was once scary clown picture! :clown:

Zzub - so sorry to hear about your decision to leave. You gotta do, what you gotta do. You will be missed.

Sher - excellent shouts and posts, even though they are a bit confusing sometimes! Hee.hee. But I glad to call you my friend!

Rhonda - haven't gotten any PM's lately.....have you?

Mark - thanks for bringing up the delicate subject. I was thinking the exact same thing. Are you still listening to music?

Now, I gotta go over to the TR Board. Haven't been there for a few days.
Then I'll be, "all catched up"

Garlic bread is in the oven. (Who the heck is David Demkey?)

WB YAK! missed you!

Grammy, sounds yummy. Is there any left or am I too late?

Where is everybody....rather quiet for a Sunday night, no??

Just got back from our Grad. Party. Actually, DH is still there, as a card game broke out (happens a lot.....) BTW, my eggplant was a big hit.

SID!!!!!!!! Nice to see your nice and pretty self.

Yak- Just got on...Son just got a MP3 player and wanted to load on songs. He is finally going to bed so I jumped on.

Wonderland was Ok. I think it is showing it's age though. Someone at the park yesterday told me the people that own Cedar Park in Ohio bought Wonderland so he thinks Dora and Sponge Bob will be no longer. Hubby took 9 year old on the bigger rides while I stayed in kidzone with 6 year old. Next year she should be tall enough to go on the bigger rides. Because the first ride was the swans. Now that is slow....then the train you get the picture. We were there for OPG( Ontario Power Generation) day so it was really busy.

I see everyone has been drinking all weekend and having fun.Things are getting back to normal.

Hey all! DH and I took a VERY last minute fun trip for the weekend - within a 3 hours drive, but it was nice to get away. Glad to see you're all a bunch of lushes ;)

Alphascentory (I don't really know how to spell it......think Will Robinson, Danger, Danger......Doc - tor Smith)

That's the planet!

Or, the Apes.

Tink - it was a shameless Napoleon Dynamite quote that my DD was going around saying all day. David is called to the office in the beginning of the movie. Thought maybe Zzub would catch that one.

Sher - actually you make perfect sense. I was having one of my moments.

SID - forgot to say "hi" in my last post. HI!

NAB - glad you had a time at CW. I'm really trying to avoid it this year, but DD has turned into a Rollercoaster lover...aaahhhgg! I'm the purse holder. I don't do coasters.

Of Course it has cheese! Gruyrere okay?

Nothing makes sense to me today. I think I need another drink, maybe? And speaking of Chappie, where the heck is he? I haven't "seen" him in ages.

Hello pot, kettle here -- btw, you're black! You accuse moi of not making sense? You, the mistress of the obscure greek poetry references? You, the vowel-challenged poster? Sheesh.

Hope everyone had a good weekend -- ours was kinda soggy down here in the Big A. I know we needed the rain and all, but do we have to get the entire month's worth in the space of 24 hours? Ah well, such is life.

You wouldn't have to worry about forgetting if you posted more often.

Hay You! How proud you must be of your big baby boy! What a wonderful time for him. You could always go over and make sure his education is being handled properly! That is what I would do! Go to Greece! Go to Scotland! :yay:

Thanks for dropping by and stop by anytime.... :teeth:

Hi all! I am back from my adventure of the weekend. Had to drive out to Lynchburg VA on friday after work. My brother in law was picking up Emily there to take back to Tennessee for the week.

Hey Jami, I don't remember where in Tenn you are, but if you are near Nashville, and you see Emily with a guy who is over 6'5, say hi.

So, on my way home from Lynchburg on saturday, I decided to visit my folks in Richmond. We had a nice visit and I stayed there saturday night and drove home to Va Beach this morning with my mom. My dad had a conference here today and tomorrow, so he left early in the morning, and I drove my mom later this morning. When we got to the hotel to help him set up his display, he realized he left some of his supplies in his office back in Richmond. Guess who was volunteered to drive back to richmond to retrieve the items, and bring them to Va beach?

Any guesses? I'll give you three guesses and the first two don't count! That's right people, me, Erinella.

So let's recap all of the driving I did this weekend:
Va Beach to Lynchburg 235 miles Friday
Lynchburg to Richmond 135 miles Saturday
Richmond to Va Beach 100 miles Sunday 11-1(always 2 hours because of traffic)
VA Beach to Richmond 100 miles sunday 1:30 till 3:30
Richmond to Va Beach 100 miles sunday 3:30 till 5:30

Thats a lot of miles! Plus i get to drive out further next weekend to pick her up! I think next monday I get to drive to Tennessee border to get her. And then back home on the fourth.

Lets not forget that the last three were all today and I had to be all "mission impossible" and get into my father's office building, get into the office and find the assorted junk he forgot to bring with him. Plus add into that the fact that there was an accident on the highway each freakin way on the trips and I had to stop at a restroom at some point or I would have a bodily fluid story to share as well.

Anyway, long story short, I did a wee bit over the speed limit the whole way. When I got to the hotel, my father was laughing cause he didn't expect me to be there for at least another hour!

Anyway, this is me, :car: Mario Andretti, signing off for the night.

To all:
Good night and have a pleasant tomorrow.

Yikes, Erinella, hope you get a chance to recoup! You got me all exhausted just reading about it.

Heading to bed now, hope you got the good news on the boards.
Later, Gator...
