I am confuzzled.

My last non-photography photography class assignment was is to make a series of photographs of a nearby area, such as a park, which will allow you to photograph nature with or without evidence of human presence.

Two shots. The first, a natural scene without evidence of human presence and the second, that would show definite signs of human presence deliberately including this evidence, attempting to interpret the human-natural balance as harmonious in some pictures and disharmonious in others.

Here's my "grade".

Excellent shots that fill the frame with the subject. The balance between the garbage and the flowing water makes a sad subject look visually pleasing.

Can someone, anyone, PLEASE explain to me how garbage in a stream is IN ANY WAY EVER visually pleasing?????
