Hi again.
What a day!
Remember this morning when I said, "Skaters change directions"
I really didn't mean - Skaters, fall and break your wrist.......
But that's exactly what our DD did today!
Mark and Rhonda - can I send Katie down so you can take her to Disney with you??? We can't right now and since you are going and you are very experienced in taking kids with broken bones????
Katie is currently in summer skating camp and has her best friend from Alabama down skating with her. She is/was preparing for the upcoming Summer Sizzle competition at her home club next weekend! Did a silly little thing like stopping (which she's done for 7 years now....) and fell back on her wrist. Broke the bone just below the joint down from her thumb. Nice little fracture, I must say! Spent the better part of the day at ER, Fractured bone clinic, and now home. She has a nice lime-greenish cast for three weeks and no swimming, skating or soccer.
On the good side, this free's me up for the rest of the summer!
She's resting now and feeling pretty good, considering.
I'm going to have a BIG drink!
Where is the Hippydippy pool when I need it!
Later, taters!

). So if the dollar difference is important then I think the point is moot. If not then do the Swalphin. On property is always better, I am an Epcot Resort area snob so I love it, love it, love it there and you can boat from Epcot to the hotel very easily or take the 20 minute (I have clocked it) walk. Otherwise you can get in your car and drive off property (which many people do with no problem, just not for me) and you can count the $70 you saved or more likely spend it on gas. As for whether I'm excited about next week? Are you kidding? I'm freaking ready to explode! Only problem is that work has made thinking about the trip like a drinking binge....it will be great during it but the problems will still be here when I return.
