Read the FAQs, but have a few questions...

Please bear with me - I've read through the sticky threads but have a few specific questions before booking my trip.

I'm debating between club level at HRH and club level at RPR (the cost comes out to pretty much the same). From what I can gather:

1) HRH is a shorter walk to the parks (though this may not be a huge difference).

2) RPR has rooms that have views of the parks.

3) The HRH pool is bigger and has a waterslide but may be very crowded. The RPR has no waterslide, but may be more relaxing. In any case, I can walk/boat to any hotel pool, regardless of my hotel.

4) I can use FOTL even if I check in first thing in the morning of the day I check-in, but may not have access to my room until 3pm and don't have access to the lounge until 3pm either.

5) I will have access to the gym (to shower/change) the afternoon after I check-out, but no access to my room or the lounge after noon.

Thanks for any help you can give with these questions/assumptions.

We were just at the Hard Rock
It's a very close walk to US, we took the boat most of the time when we
went to IOA

The HRH pool is not that crowded, at least when we were there.
My family was always at the pool at around 8:30 am and had the whole pool to ourselves for a long time. Also, when we watched the Dive In Movie
it still wasn't too crowded

We also didn;t have to wait all day for our room. We arrived at 10:30 am and our room was ready. But even if yours isn't, you can use the FOTL access and enjoy the parks til the room is ready

Hope this helps
Have Fun! :)

The HRH rooms are bigger.

If you are going to the pool to actually swim, keep in mind that the pool at the HRH is only 3ft at the deepest and that it is a zero entry pool.

false. you will have access to the club lounge upon check-in. Also, it's 4pm, not 3.

Thanks for the corrections and explanations. It doesn't really look like there is much walking distance difference between the two (one is closer to IOA, but the other is closer to US).

Good to know about earlier lounge access. Since I plan on leaving my bags and heading to the parks, the room being ready at 4pm rather than 3pm doesn't really make much difference, but thanks for letting me know.
