I’m here in line now and excited and nervous as we have new tickets and only two days here. Can someone tell me: if we have trouble being recognized as in park, where do we find the guest experience tent and where are the CMs standing? Is there an advantageous spot I should be standing to obtain help?

Look for CMs wearing blue Guest Experience Team polos.

1 Team member was standing next to me outside of the first store yesterday. I was there alone at 5:45 and she came to that area at 6a. GET Team was probably alerted to potential problems because the closest GET Kiosk/umbrella is closer to Grauman’s.

I got boarding group 50
It was 6:01 when the link showed up to join a group

We got BG 52. Had all 4 people in our party using the app with me logged in. Glad we did because my partner’s phone came right up and the rest of ours took a couple minutes.

We had a very similar result. 6:01- 47. For what it’s worth I was on WiFi and my “join boarding group” didn’t even turn red before my husband got our BG. We got 50 our first time earlier this week- we must not be very good at this. Just happy to have one. Now to get these cranky kids back to bed.

We had a very similar result. 6:01- 47. For what it’s worth I was on WiFi and my “join boarding group” didn’t even turn red before my husband got our BG. We got 50 our first time earlier this week- we must not be very good at this. Just happy to have one. Now to get these cranky kids back to bed.

We got 50 and then 62 earlier this week when people next to us got in the teens. FWIW, when we were 50 we got called at 9am, 2 hours after park open, and when we were 63 we got called around 10:20 or so.

I finally read through some Spoiler posts
and 1 poster recommends opening up the app after you’ve entered the park.

I had closed out my app and opened it at 5:58 to start refreshing and even though I had to remove 2 people from the group and Confirm their removal before Confirming joining a BG, I was BG 35. The GET CM was helping a group and they received 36 which I thought was interesting as they were at least a minute behind me in joining.

I also turned off WiFi - DD is a Fant performer and states Studios’ WiFi is sucky.

I can say from my own experience that closing out and reopening didn’t seem to make much difference over refreshing. DH’s iPhone X on ATT LTE beat my phone (iPhone 8, VZ) both times.

I may be the bad luck. The day we got 50 (Saturday) was the other day that they didn’t start calling BG until 2+ hours after park opening and ours wasn’t called until like 12:30ish.

Clearly this was not a great day to go to HS.... but crossing fingers it will work out. Guaranteed BGs are up to 106 which is 15 higher than yesterday

Disappointing that the 6am opening saw fewer BGs than the 7am. Hopefully the throughput will improve this week.

The app would not recognize any of the four of us as being in the park this morning. Tried WiFI, LTE, hard close in app, signed out of MDE and nothing. Found a free floating castmember as the lines at the blue umbrellas were crazy long. Got group 104 which is fine because we wanted a later one.
