Hi, I'm sorry for this thread. I know some people probably get tired of fastpass questions and that is the reason for the FAQ thread, but I read all through that thread and thought I understood it. But now that its actually time to book, things are not happening the way I thought.

I have a one night onsite hotel stay checking in on November 17th and checking out November 18th. Today this morning I was able to book up until November 18th for fastpass. But I thought I would be able to book 10 days out from November 17th (check in date) too? But on the site those days are greyed out. What did I do wrong?

I believe you are looking at a "rolling 60" situation for the days from November 19th on.

From the Split Stay post in the FP FAQ:
Onsite Stay followed by Offsite Stay
  • Onsite Package Stay followed by Offsite Stay. The 60-day FP booking window will open at 60 days before the check-in date of the onsite package stay and will extend until the checkout date of the onsite package stay. Additionally, the booking window will roll forward (a “rolling 60”) each day beyond the onsite package checkout date until the guest checks out of the onsite resort.
  • Onsite RO Stay followed by Offsite Stay. The 60-day FP booking window will open at 60 days before the check-in date of the onsite RO stay and will extend until the checkout date of the onsite RO stay. Additionally, the booking window will roll forward (a “rolling 60”) each day beyond the onsite RO checkout date until the guest checks out of the onsite resort. This assumes valid tickets are linked to the MDX account.

I think you are allowed to book 60+ the number of days till you checkout, for example, I check in nov8 and checkout nov 11 and I was able to book FP 60 days prior to nov. 8, for all days between nov. 8-11.
