We're getting hoppers, 6 day, because there's a chance that my husband won't be able to be there the whole time (not able to take off that much work) so this way we can ensure that he can go wherever he likes, even if it's not the planned day! Savannah is pretty ok with skipping the party, but I'm going to leave the option open until we get closer and see how much is saved. I'm saving faster than I planned as of right now, so we may end up having enough for the party too! I MAY even keep it a surprise! I'm not sure I'm capable of doing such a thing, but it would be fun if I could!

Glad to hear that you went PH. I've been trying to decide what I want to do if we have to reschedule. We've never been to MNSSHP, so we'll definitely have to do that ... but without knowing IF I have to reschedule, its hard to say when I can plan for such things since I can't narrow down the exact date range (it's anywhere between 9/30-10/11 that we'd be visiting).

Surprises are very hard to keep... especially when they get that sad look in their eyes when they see something they really want. Everytime a WDW commercial comes on and DD sees it, she whimpers a bit, and it takes everything in me to not rush to her, hold her, and tell her that we're going this year.

I think the only reason I am able to keep it a secret is because Caden is so young. I have been showing him videos, pictures, etc. online so he will know what WDW is, but he has no clue I have actually planned the trip already. If he was older he would have caught on already. Heck...all I ever do is surf Disney sites & work on planning. I have my huge planning binder sitting on the end table next to the couch. Since he can't read yet it doesn't matter!

I was thinking about whether I've EVER kept a secret before??? My brain started hurting, that's not such a good sign!

I did keep the secret about Savannah's cake...ALMOST! Kept it all the way up until right before we went to dinner and then I thought about how she had been so uncomfortable getting extra attention for her bday on the trip, so I told her that there would be a cake just so she didn't get taken off guard, and that I would make sure they didn't sing to her...

but I kept it almost until the end!...

This may be harder than I thought!
