??? re: Wrigley Field

I am planning a road trip back to the midwest this summer. I am taking my teens. We would like to go to a Cubs game at Wrigley Field. I have searched the Website.. no handi info avail., called the 800 number.. no info avail. until tickets go on sale in late February. So, I thought I shall try my DIS associates.. they know EVERYTHING!!!!!


Please tell me anything you know about the wheelchair seating and disabled parking at Wrigley. We are looking to go to the Aug. 11 or 12 game...

ANY and ALL INFO will be appreciated!

Parking is not for the faint of heart around Wrigley, no handicapped parking as far as I know, very little parking of any sort. Just a few lots around the neighborhood. Public transportation, L, bus or cab, is always recommended.

Thanks for the links Dan.. they sure helped. I spoke to the 800 number rep for disabled seating.. she tried really hard but had NO INFO until Feb 21... that is when all the tickets go on sale.

It has been a very long time since I have been to Wrigley... way before they had lights for night games. My friends think that there is handicap parking near Wrigley.... I am hoping that there is a lot as I want to be able to take my van up to the city so I can utili*e my powerchair and the lift is in the van.

I am looking forward to a Chicago Hotdog and maybe an OLD STYLE too.

I would love to be able to meet any of you wild Chicagoland Diser's .. you all seem like a great bunch!

If anybody else has any info I sure would appreciate the help.

Only info I have for you is that I sat in the handicapped 'section' once. It's a very wide aisle, lots of leg room, almost a walk-thru aisle actually but, they have an usher sitting on one or both ends of the seating section and, keep people from doing this. Good seats!
