? re Target $10 gift card for $75 spend - how does this work w/ Redcard?

I just got a Target RedCard,so I don't know all the ins and outs. I am considering making a few purchases for the Cyber Monday 9/30 promo where you spend $75 and receive a $10 Target gift card.

My question - do I need to spend $75 before or after the Target RedCard 5% discount? ie. if I spend exactly $75, I will only pay $71.25 after the RedCard discount. Will I qualify for the $10 gift card? OR, do I need to spend $78.95, which will be $75 after the 5% RedCard savings?

The way it worked in stores just before Christmas last year (buy $50 get $10 gift card free) they give u the gift card before paying. So I paid $47.50 for $50 gift card and got the $10 gift card free.

So hopefully it will be the exact same thing.

Anyone bought a spend $x get gift card Target deal online before? I'm curious if the in-store and on-line systems calculate the same since there is no handing the gift card to you prior to payment. I would prefer this deal to be available in store (so gift cards could quickly be monetized), but cyber monday suggests online only to me. Guess we have to wait and see.

I sooooooo wish this would be available in the stores on Sept 30 as well as online. We leave for vacation on Oct 1st and I had planned to buy Disney gift cards prior to leaving.

I just happen to have my Rx 5% online code still available to me as I just purchased and used my Rx 5% in store coupon the other day. So, I hope to get 9.75% off total using my Red card and Rx coupon, then earn $10 for each set which comes to about 22% off total after the gift cards are factored in.

Since there is a limit of 10 that you can order online, I'm hoping it allows them to all go through and qualify but I'll order 9 since that gives me 6 $10 gift cards. I wouldn't be surprised if it only allows one per order, but it's worth a try!

I don't think you can use the pharmacy reward coupon online to buy GCs. Just in store.

I am filling my 5th prescription today, but was told it may take 2 weeks to get the 5% reward coupon. Is there anyone who has a Target rewards coupon that is not planning on participating in the cyber monday deal 9/30 who would be willing to swap with me? I'll send you my coupon as soon as I receive it. Is this allowed?

Yikes - that stinks but I think I do remember reading that somewhere else but can't remember where. Thanks for the "reality check"! I did read the back of the coupon for online and it says the same as the others, not good on Target gift cards or pre-paid cards which we know the Disney and other entertainment cards are neither. I figure it's worth a try so now I'll be prepared - thanks!

Mine took almost two weeks to get to me so I'd say it's very accurate. See above - it's been noted the Rx 5% coupons aren't valid on the Disney cards online but I haven't tried it yet. Good luck!

As long as your Gift Card was from a previous purchase you can use it. If you get a gift card for buying three tides, you cannot use it on that purchase. But you can pay for the three tides, get the gift card. And then use it right away on the next purchase.
