The family is sailing on the Magic and we wanted to know if Palo is worth it? This will be our 3rd Disney cruise and have never done it. Please share you thoughts.
thanks!

Palo brunch is our favorite because we like sitting by the windows in the daytime and the choices are great. But the dinner is very romantic and we have done it for our anniversary twice. You can't beat the price at only $25/pp considering the quality of the food, the choices and the staff. As with MDR, you can choose anything off the menu and how ever much of it you want or any number of items.

[hint: order the chocolate souffle pre-dinner!]

I love both brunch and dinner. I always do both. Brunch has fantastic choices both buffet and plated entrees. Offering both breakfast and lunch choices. Dinner has premium choices. I love both the filet and the lamb. And the chocolate soufflé is wonderful.

Well worth it in my opinion! The service there is excellent and so is the food! We haven't tried the brunch yet, but will on our next cruise!

We plan on doing Palo Brunch and Dinner on every DCL cruise we go on. Well worth it in our opinion.

If you want the soufflé you can order it when you order your appetizer and entree. They are made to order and take a while.

Thanks! Great tip! I'm having dinner (and brunch) there for the first time in two months. I definitely want to try the souffle but I want don't want dinner to take longer than necessary. I'll have a lititle one impatiently waiting to nurse.

Palo is typically a slower paced dinner. If you have time constraints be sure to mention it to the waiter when you sit down.

FYI, Palo is also very allergy friendly. They made the Chocolate Souffle gluten free for us last cruise. We went back a second time that week. Really enjoyed Luca's service on the Fantasy.

THIS.

It is SO GOOD gluten free! My wife had it.

Special secret: you can also get it brought to you in the MDR if none of the GF options look appealing, BUT YOU HAVE TO PRE ORDER IT. In other words, when you order on Monday night for Tuesday night's dinner, if the desserts look less than appealing, you can ask your head server to get you a Palo soufflé. It is so good. They bring it to you hit the next evening with both the sauces used in Palo.

Palo is definitely worth it. We have been known to visit three-four times on a seven night.

We just had dinner at Palo for the first time on our 10/31 Dream cruise. Our reservation was for 6pm and we didn't get out of there until after 9:30pm. This was the last night and I still had to get the luggage packed and outside the door . We weren't happy about wasting our whole evening there. I made the reservation for 6pm because some people in our party wanted to see Believe at 8:30pm. They were very disappointed they missed it.
The food was good, but we actually thought it was better at Enchanted Garden. Won't be doing dinner there again.
I've had brunch at Palo on the Magic many years ago and plan to do that on our next Fantasy cruise.

We love Palo, all the meals we have there were amazing! Great service and very nice surroundings. We have not tried the brunch yet but that looks great.

Yikes! 3.5 hours?? We also booked 6pm on our last night. I never thought we would be there past 8 unless we were deliberately dragging our feet. I hope that was an anomaly. Otherwise I should cancel our reservation and wait until next year when the kids are a little older.

I don't think we've ever been there that long, even when we had a large party and were enjoying the excellent company and food.
