Re-opening after rehab

Any chance Splash Mtn might re-open a few days before schedule? We will be attending P&PP on Jan. 26 (SM scheduled to reopen Jan 27 or 28) and were really looking forward to SM late at night!

Anyone know if rides sometimes reopen a little early? Or just wishful thinking on my part?!

I'd say YES to that possibility.

Several rides have opened early after rehab recently.

But you never know until the time comes.

I have been wondering this too. Our last day is January 27th. I had heard that Splash Mtn would reopen on the 28th. I am so happy to hear that we may get to ride it this trip.

I would think that they would be pessimistic about announcing when an attraction would reopen so that no one would be disappointed by them being late. We got lucky with the original soft opening for Splash Montain in DLR. Sometimes if you ask the cast members in the area of the attraction, they will give you a clue about whether it may test before the reopening and approximately what time of day.

Yes...it is possible.

We were at WDW in JAN/FEB this year when Buzz Lightyear was supposed to be closed. It opened a few days early, just in time for us to catch it several times before the end of our trip!
