Can someone provide me an address to let them know how my parent's surprise Garden Grill Re-hitching was made a complete fiasco by our waitress, Kathryn. I planned and was so excited to do this for my parents, only to have her ruin it by her attitude and poor communication.

When I get bad service, I usually just chalk it up to experience, but this is something I want to write them about. Anyone have an address?

Yes, please tell. I was looking to do this in August as we will be there for our Anniversary.

please tell us what happened:D we are planning to do this when we go in october

eve:D

I'd been planning this for a long time and was so excited about it. I called ahead and confirmed the rehitching was on the PS... When I checked in at CR I checked to make sure it was on the PS... when I arrived at the Garden Grill I checked to make sure it was all set.

We had to prompt the waitress and she said she was just to busy to deal with it.

Then, she barged up to the table and said "Who's anniversary is it? " I said that it wasn't an anniversary, we are doing the rehitching as a part of celebrating my parents retirement. She rolled her eyes and left and came back with a very loud guy who went through this "He's retired, and to congratulate him we're going to make him clear the table..." Then, Kathryn tossed the rehitching certificate on the table.

PieInYourEye,

Thanks for posting what happened. I kept checking back since I was curious. We've only eaten there once and haven't seen the rehitching done but if they are going to offer it, it should be done right when requested.

:faint:

I just cant believe it! We suprised our friends with a rehitching and it was fantastic!

wait feeling woosey again.....:faint:

Ok ok. if it were me, I'd call 407-wdw-dine and ask to be connected to the Garden Grille directly and say you need to speak to the manager. Then I'd get the manager and tell her you want the address for dinning customer service and then explain what happened. If you give him a chance to hear what happened first, he'll appreciate it more.

So sorry you had such a BAD experience, ours in October 03 was amazing! Maybe it depends on who is working, but it certainly should not matter!!

You should call and let someone know about how badly you were treated.

Wishing everyone a "magical" day!!

If you're going to complain about a meal at WDW, you should really ask for a manager before you leave the restaurant. It is a lot more effective than sending a letter after the fact. ::yes::

Bojangles, I don't think that the meal was what went wrong, it was the rehitching that they had a problem with. After the trouble they had with it, I could understand them wanting to just get out of their as fast as possible.

This may be a dumb question... but what is a "rehitching ceremony" and what is supposes to happen at the restaurant?
