an elf is someone that helps out and sends an extra package when someone else fails to mail theirs off.
So no one goes without.
We love when we don't need any......

Thanks for explaining Nancy, but I feel really badly now - I thought it meant to be anonymous with your own exchange, so I said no on all the recent exchanges - I would gladly be an elf if needed - anytime!

I don't know if this would make sense but after listening to the news and seeing the gas prices on my way home.. .. ( from $2.61 this morning to $2.99 for an 87 gradenow at 1AM) I asked myself How are you Timmy ? I am thankful that I was able to answer myself "am still fine". Now with all our exchanges, how much it was to give and rec'd ( not sure if it is related but will try), I was wondering if this is possible.... that we can do something to help our fellow Dis who are affected by Katrina.... I have some decent old clothes that I can send... and thinking of maybe doing a garage sales to make a few dollars. My DSis can do a bake sale at work.... What do you think fellow exchangers ??? You think this seed can grow into something ?
