Re fillable drinks

OMG, the pirate cruise is great! I only found out about it from these boards - there's often threads in the Families section about it. Basically, they take about 15 kids or so on a boat around the lagoon looking for treasure & they come back wearing bandanas and grinning from ear to ear. It's from 9:30-11:30 & you're given a pager in case you're needed. DH spent the two hours camped out in a hammock. :) You have to book it in advance. I think it costs around $30.00. I booked it at the same time (and using the same number) as making my ADRs.
Great, thanks for the info Bonnie :thumbsup2

Now I just need to find somewhere to fit it in

You can only use your refillable mug at the resort it was purchased and only during your stay at the resort. They soon pay for themselves and make great keep sakes..

About 15+ years ago they used to be lifetime refills(where the confusion arises). Then they went to length of stay.If you have split stays you were alowed to use the same mug as long as there were no breaks inbetween. As stated they are all now YOMD mugs.Poisibly next year will change again to a new promotion to make mugs year spacific to cut down on the abbuse .What uesd to make me laugth was the 42oz 7up mugs being refilled

Hi

The resorts now have generic mugs. It is the same mug at all resorts, so you can refill them at any resort, but not in the parks. You will not be able to use anu mugs that you purchased on a previous trip. They are good value - we use ours outdoors all the time and they have lasted very well.

Hi!
I was there Feb 11th - March 2nd and they werent on sale then.Strange that!

I was there in April and they had them in some places and not in others; obviously phasing them in, so not that strange.

I must dig out of the back of the cupboard the POR mugs that we got from our first stay there, when they were lifetime... Actually I think we threw them out last time we went, because the plastic had discoloured and they looked really manky. For the Brits there for a long stay a new mug is a no brainer, if you drink any of the beverages

Can recommend buying the mugs at the Disney water parks. It's def saved us a few pennies. We shall take our mugs back & buy the dated barcodes.

In fact bought a River Country one from a charity shop last year just to complete the set! Won't take that 1 back to WDW with us!
