Hi! This will be the 1st time that we've been at Disney during the Christmas season and want to go to both the Candlelight Processional (dh and I are going to do the dinner deal while grandparents watch the little one) and the MVMCP (as a large group of 8). I went to buy the tix for the MVMCP, but will have to call in the purchase because the computer will only let me buy 5 at a time. Anyways, I noticed that it says on the computer that "tickets are nontransferrable". Does this mean that they have our names on them? 2 of the members of our party can sometimes be "flighty" and I figured that if they backed out, I could probably find somebody to resell the tickets to. If they are linked to a person, this could cause a problem with those 2 members of our party (and we don't want to wait because we're afraid tix will sell out). So, my 1st question is, how do they make these "non-transferrable". My 2nd question is when will they start selling the dinner/processional tickets? 3rd, will they put out a list of the guest "speakers" for the processional with the tickets or do you just buy the date and then whoever you get, you get? 4th, is advance purchase through Disney the cheapest way of getting these tickets (both processional & MVMCP)? We're Florida residents, Annual Passholders, DVC members, AAA, and Military---any extra discounts here? Thanks for the info!

You might be better off posting this on the Resorts Board rather than here...

And no, there are no cheaper ways to get any of these tickets. If you buy the MVMCP tickets in advance they are a little cheaper than buying at the gate that day. But, otherwise, the prices are the same.

They do not have names on the tickets. All Disney tickets say "non-transferrable". Perhaps it means one person can't use it then leave and hand it to someone else to use. What night are you going? Usually only Fridays sellout, you may want to wait on those 2 tickets.

CP packages go on sale Thursday, 9/2.

No discounts.

My DH and I did this before 2 years ago. We had no problem waiting until we checked in to our hotel (stay at BWV) to buy our tickets. I think we'll do the sme this year. We do try to go in the middle of the week though, to avoid the bigger local crowds on weekends
