A friend of mine called MS this morning to try and book a 2br at BCV for October and was told the availability was limited since they will be re-doing the layout in the second bedroom of the dedicated 2br during that time. I guess they were telling the truth when they said they were going to fix the dedicated 2 br. Great news!!

I must have missed it. What are they going to be doing?

They accidently put a sofa bed in the dedicated units instead of another queen bed. So not only do they have to replace the furniture, but move wall lighting fixtures, etc to match the new setup

lsyorke- Did they happen to say when this would be complete? We go in Nov. and were hoping for the second bedroom to have 2 queen beds.

This is great news, thanks for the update!

From what I understood, his reservation is for the last week of October and they said it may be done by then, so keep your fingers crossed.(he waitlisted in case they open up for him)

Just spent 9 nights in a dedicated 2BR. It would have been great to have the 2 queen beds with 2 DS's over 6 ft.. FYI, Villa 254 is angled in such a way that the second bedroom is extra large and has a very large balcony overlooking the quiet pool. Would request it on our next stay at BCV!

Could you see any fireworks from your balcony?? Looking for a nice one to take my daughter and her friends to for her 16th birthday. thanks

We were on the villa side facing the quiet pool, room 254. Not sure if you could see MK fireworks from higher floors on that side. We definitely were on the wrong side to see Illuminations. We often took the short walk to the bridge that goes to the Boardwalk and could see the higher fireworks nicely from there.
