I called today after numerous attempts to apply the code to our ressie and it worked. We added the dining. But my question is I logged on to my disney vacation (trip was paid for but we now owe them a little) and it shows a reflection of the changes but it doesn't show DDP. It shows the purchase date being today and the price change.

For those of you who've booked DDP does it reflect online?

What dates/resort are your ressies that you received the discount? I'm trying to make ressies for October's Race for the Taste 10K and hoping I'll be selected to receive the discount.

Hmm...mine didnt show online and as I when I came on dis to inquire I found several others saying theirs didnt show online. Atleast one person found out that dining had indeed been left off their reservation but for the rest of us the consesus was that it just didnt show up because it was indeed there. i would however call back to make sure.

I just called to make some ADR's and asked the CM if she could see my ressie, she said she could see it but wouldn't be able to make any changes. Anyway she confirmed that we do have DDP.

When I applied the code I didn't see the dining after online, I called and the CM said it was there, I was worried but when I recieved my confirmation in the mail it was on there.. I wound't worry to much, I would call to confirm it is there (for peace of mind maybe) but I think its a common thing not to show online

For the dining plan do you need to take a package. I only booked a room because I have park passes from our last trip. Can I get a dining plan with
room reservation only? I have looked on disney site but only see dining with packages that include tickets.

If I remember correctly you must book a package and purchase at least one day base passes for everyone on your reservation.

I'm trying to decide if I really can go before Dec2007, and if I should go with DDP. We've never tried it, but would like to. Thank you, and I understand if you feel it is none of my business.

There is 5 of us (only one considered a child). We are staying at POR, with base 7 days tickets from 8/21 to 8/27 and DDP for $2774 with 40% room discount. Save us about $400 !

I know that this has been asked before, but how can I access this rate?
If I'm interpreting this thread correctly, I would just call and they'd tell me I have 40% off ?!?
That doesn't sound right- they'd give it to me without me even asking?

Count me among those who booked the dining plan and it does not show up online, but does show on my paper ressie along with the code used to get the 40%.

Hoping--If you have not gotten a postcard or an email offering the discount, you can try calling and asking if you have a discount pin associated with your household.
