RE: Castaway Cd...

If anyone remembers, I am one of many out there you receive nothing from the Castaway Club...

One of our Dis friends, yogibigdog has so kindly sent me an extra copy received by them...How nice is that....Just want to let you know that is more than well appreciated..Especially by DD6 who underwent ear surgery yesterday...SHE LOVES IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks so much..I just wanted to let everyone know what a great bunch we are made up of...

I hope your DD feels better real soon. We were very close to needing tubes put in DS's ears due to recurrent ear infections. They cleared up just in time. We'll see how he makes out this winter. He may not be out of the woods yet.

Disney seems to be quite hit or miss when it comes to its Castaway Club members. We had to call them to get our member # after our first cruise. We've received only 2 mailings from them since we first cruised in November 2001!

Then only thing that we've been receiving from the Castaway Club lately is a bunch of ad's touting there great rates (yea right not EVEN!!) and the extra special $25 room credit for booking with them online (yes I typed twenty-five dollars - big whoop!) Even though I've been a member of the Castaway Club since 1999, I really would like to have the CD instead of the advertisements offering me a suckers deal!

I called the Castaway Club line this morning (800-449-3380) and spoke to a very rude woman who informed me I may NOT have a cd. I explained to her that my friend sailed on the same cruise as we did and she got her cd but we didn't get one. That didn't seem to bother her at all. She put me on hold and then transfered me to a recorded line for a brochure. Needless to say, I was a little disappointed....
