?? re cancelling reservation with Borrowed Points

If I have a reservation that is using both current use year points and borrowed points, and I decide to cancel one night of the reservation, which points do they cancel?

Would they cancel the current yuse ear points that I could bank into next year or would they cancel the borrowed points from 2003 that would have to be used before the upcoming use year?

Reservation is in March 2003. Use year is September.

I would think that would be up to you. I told them what points to use for my reservations since I have two home resorts. I would guess that I could cancel the same way. You really need to call them soon so you can bank if you want to. I have Sept use year also.

Each night of the reservation has been made using specific points. If the night you cancel was made with current points, you'll have no problem at all. If it was made using the borrowed points, you can simply have MS reallocate the points for that night to use the current points.

Just make sure they use the borrowed points for the days you will still use and you'll be fine. This is done all the time and you probably won't even have to ask, but be prepared.

I did what Doc suggested and it went very smoothly, I was worried that I'd lose some points but I didn't.
