On the DVC board in someone's trip report, they stated that when they went to Blizzard Beach there was a $31 fee for the chair lift, in addition to the cost to enter the park. They stated that they walked up all the stairs rather than pay the fee. Is there really an additional fee for the chair lift or was this a misunderstanding on the part of the other poster?

We are going in July and I have no intention of paying $30+ to enter the park and then another $30 to easily access some of the attractions - if I'm going to spend that kind of money, I'm going to MK, EPCOT or MGM!!

Somebody was pulling your leg. There is no extra fee to ride the chairlift up to the top. There may be a sign, but it is part of the Ski slope theming.

Thanks for clearing that up. I was almost positive that it was a misunderstanding on the part of the OP of the other thread, BUT just wanted to make sure!! I can see Disney charging for something like that, but not enough to equal the price of admission to the park.
