RD bus planning

would a good plan be to be at the bus stop an hour before park opening for a rope drop plan or would we need to be at the bus stop earlier.

We are staying at SSR for August 20-27

You never know how long you'll wait for a bus. Sometimes 5 minutes, sometimes 30. I guess it depends on how hardcore you want to go. If it's very important to get a good spot for RD, you might want to get to the bus stop more than an hour ahead. If you're ok with possibility just making it or being in the back of the pack, an hour is fine.

An hour might be plenty of time but you never know.

I thought buses only start running 1 hour before park opening though

I think they start around 6:30 or 7 depending on the park.
