It sounds like you've confused yourself. BG has 2 potential connections to RCI. One is through the weeks side where you must have previously deposited a week with RCI. The other is through the new travelers plus points connection. While you can search RCI weeks through that account, you will NOT see any RCI points resorts that have found their way over to the RCI weeks side. This is a rule of the system. That means the BWV 2 BR weeks I mentioned earlier would have been available to you. Don't waste your time looking on the weeks side through your BG points account, at least that seems to be what you might have been doing.
If you're looking in your weeks membership you should not have any points info listed on your exchanges. That membership number should be 9 digits with no dashes. If you have a BG points membership, that is a single digit likely starting with 8 followed by a dash. You can only see inventory in the weeks side through a weeks account but it may include inventory that has found itself from points to week. From a points membership you can only see points inventory and non RCI points resorts in the weeks side.
The numbers you see are the number of resort available for you to exchange to. I don't have a deposit on file to compare to but going by my (and others) experience the last few years, a very good trader will pull close to 150000 exchange options. The lowest one I've had has been around 100K options and that was a studio. I doubt you'll have any chance of exchanging in to DVC with either of those options other than for under 45 days possibly. No harm in trying, just not much chance of success. Maybe bwvBound, Brian or others have deposits they can compare with to give you a better idea. Are you a travelers plus members? If so, you have access to the RCI points side as well.
I've pasted my results below. Of these, only the Grand Pacific Palisades sees DVC -- and I'm only able to see weeks beyond Aug 2010 based on my deposit's travel window. The deposits titled "The Seapointer" are from a non-rated resort in South Africa and are not expected to match DVC.

[129,194]You should likely put in for the best option that work well for you off site now. In your exact situation I see no reason to wait. Better to get your top choices off site than take your chances in this situation.
