my inlaw own timeshares from RCI ...and they are going to let us use there condo down in anhiem.. does anyone know what resorts RCI can use

all I know is I've had a request in for almost a year for ANY Southern California and can't get anything. RCI keeps calling me and trying to get me to change my mind and telling me how hard So. Cal is to get. :headache: There are very few resorts to choose from. Good Luck!

and how far away are they..

I was told the same thing and that I should do WDW! I tried to use RCI in Carlsbad and ran into the same problem. I couldn't get a 3 bedroom but when I called the resort they told me one was available but not to RCI. So I ended up getting it on a cash basis and they gave me a good rate but I was bummed I couldn't use my points. I had alot to use.

We stayed at the Dolphins Cove Resort, which I believe is RCI, we traded through our timeshare. It is right down the rode from Disneyland, probably about a mile. It was VERY nice. They are in the process of renovating all the rooms. We were lucky enough to get a newly done room. We were the first ones to stay in them. The staff was super helpful (we had to call them a lot for little things that were missing from the room, expected being that they had just put the rooms back together). They have full kitchens which saved us SO much money. They also have gas grills that you can use to BBQ. The pool and spa was nice, we really didn't use it though. They have a nice little clubhouse with activities throughout the week. They have continental breakfast 2 days a week (I cant remember which days). The ART runs by there, but the one that was closest to us never seemed to come, so we always went across the street (in front of the Doubletree) and caught that one.

If you have any other questions, let me know! We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

I believe if you go to www.rci.com and click resort directory you should be able to see the resorts without logging on.

I believe Portofino and Peacock Inn and Suites are both on there but neither are a true condo. I can't remember if Wyndam is RCI or II....

If I remember right Wyndham is II, we were thisclose to buying into Wyndham but changed our minds at the last minute. Instead we own with Shell and the Peacock is RCI BUT it's VERY hard to get into with Shell let alone with RCI. The Peacock only has a limited number of rooms for timeshare use, the rest they book as cash bookings so the pickings can be very very slim.

Does anyone know about the Radisson Suites Hotel Buena Park? How far away and how hard it is to get?

You can. Go to www.rci.com

If you can, get your inlaw's log-in infor so you can see the week they have up for exchange. That'll bring up which resorts are available and when.

It doesn't do much good to know that a resort is part of RCI if you can't get into it when you want.

Not exactly sure where that hotel is but we have stayed in Buena Park and driven to DLR, it's a quick drive, Buena Park is very close to Anaheim.

^ I 2nd that info. I just did an exchange with parents timeshare through RCI as well and this is what you have to do. Your family member also has to purchase a "guest certificate" for you to be able to use their timeshare.
