RCI - Leaving early question...

Okay, kind of a dumb question, so sorry in advance. What do you do if you only want to stay 6 out of 7 nights in an RCI week exchange? I'm thinking of rearranging my trip a bit and leaving 1 night early at our Hawaii RCI exchange. Is there something special I would need to do? Can we just check out early?

My niece is turning 16 in Peru, and her party is set for the day after we come home from Hawaii. So, I'm thinking of shifting the trip back one day and coming home just a day earlier so I can have 24+ hours to get to Lima and then Cusco. It'll feel like the Amazing Race!

Just check out early. I do it all the time.

I often trade into DVC and only use 3 or 4 nights. Sometimes we have friends or family who finishes out the time, other times not. Unless there's something like a meal plan that comes into play, just follow the usual check out procedures for the resort in question.
