Which of these class of ships is better?

Voyager are the larger ships and includes Adventure of the Seas, Voyager of the Seas, Mariner of the Seas & Navigator of the Seas.

Radiance includes Brilliance of the Seas, Serenade of the Seas, Jewel of the Seas & Radiance of the Seas.

Looking for cruise for DD16 and me.

We've done DCL 3x and want to try something new.

I like them all!!!
Voyager is really cool though. Get a cabin with a balcony
for sure!

I want to know, too, Pug. We want to take an Alaskan cruise next summer, and only the Radiance class goes there. I was wondering what the difference was.

Much prefer Radiance class....

Voyageur is just too big....too many waits...having to hurry to get seats for shows, Bingo etc etc...Survival of the fittest to get a pool chair...

Beautiful ships...just too many people!

Having to walk around for 10 minutes in the Windjammer with a tray of food to find a table!! Not fun...

I voted for the Voyager Class, I have been on both the Voyager and the Explorer. Having said that, I haven't been on a Radiance Class ship. I probably shouldn't have voted because when it comes to teens, size isn't all that important. Two of our very best cruises were on Celebrity. We sailed the Infinity and a Century Class ship. (the name is escaping me right now). The thing with really huge ships is that they have tons of amenities, lots to do, but also al lot of kids. Its like being at a huge party. There are lots of people there but sometimes a smaller party is better because you get to know more people. The food on the Voyager Class ships, I think, is lacking. Why? Because they are serving 3000 plus people per day. It's not that it isn't good, it is always good but it is never terrific. The cold things aren't all that cold. The hot things are never that hot. They aren't very daring with the menu. If that isn't important to you, You will love the Voyager Class ships. I never felt crowded. I never felt tht I was on a ship with that many people. It is a huge ship. Celebrity Cruise Lines I love. The food is wonderful. The entertainment is almost as good and sometimes, definately as good as RCCL and the service is always excellent. My next cruise will probably be Celebrity, IF they are going where I want to go. Sometimes I dont' care where they are going. Last cruise, Infinity, I picked the ship. I didn't make a mistake.

I can not compare the two but we were on the Serenade of the Seas on an Alaskan cruise this summer. This was a beautiful ship with alot of glass to look out over the seas.

Very beautiful ship......

In fact, the elevators are glass on the outside and you can see for miles. Not so on the Voyager class ships.

I cruised on Celebrity this past May and hated it. Now that being said, it was the Century which is an old ship. The food in the dining room was excellent but not so anywhere else.I find the food on RCL mediocre at best, but again...for whatever reason, the Radiance class had an edge there too!I was on Brilliance of the Seas...I think both are great to see...but the Radiance does it hands down for me!
