Originally, I was going to watch PTN this Friday and do RBT - F! on Sunday. HOWEVER, according to a few weather reports, there is an 80% chance of rain on Sunday night. I do not want to risk missing F!. So, I think I'm going to try to see both of them on Friday. Saturday is non-park day for us.

I currently have reservations at RBT on Friday for 5:30pm. But there are still openings at 6:20/6:40/7pm. PTN is being shown at 5:45pm and 10:45pm. I have a 6 year old who typically goes to bed around 9pm. If we we try to for 10pm show, then we will take an afternoon break to hopefully nap.

Which plan sounds better?

1.
no nap/stalk spot around 4:30? Will take whatever we can get - don't need curb spot if catch earlier parade
PTN 5:45
change RBT reservation to 6:20 or 6:40
F! 9pm

2.
hotel break/nap
RBT reservation - keep 5:30 or change to 6:20/6:40 (would prefer later dining time, but will this give me the earlier F! FP?)
F! 9pm
book it over to main street after the fireworks to stalk spot for PTN
PTN 10:45.

Personally I would do option 1 but I think you'll be OK either way. I doubt you'll even need to get a spot as early as 430. We usually watch PTN on the street leading to small world just past Alice in Wonderland and have had no problems finding a spot.

We tried to nap at the hotel on our vacation, but my 6 yr old was too excited! It was better on the days we pushed through and just took a quiet break in the parks instead.
