...fake, fraught with errors, out of character for the supposed author, contradictory to other reports, and essentially meaningless besides, but still accurate. Thank heavens we've cleared that up.

Memos on Bush Are Fake but Accurate, Typist Says

Let me get this straight - we are supposed to believe his typist over his wife and son?

I saw an interview on Hannity and Colmes last week with Killian's son who said that his dad had told him he liked Bush and that the memo's did not reflect what he understood his father's feelings to be.

I don't think we're suppose to believe any of them. It's all heresay.

Without the forged memos, there wouldn't have been a story worthy of a 60 Minutes expose.

I was thinking the same thing.

But I've heard that CBS had been working on this story for 4 years. This was their last shot to use any info they could about GWBs service record because come Nov3, it wouldn't be news anymore.

I liked Leno's comment that CBS had come up with some new memos. They knew they were new because they made them last weekend.

Actually, it was five years. I posted this on the memo thread, and it made me chuckle so I thought I'd share it again.

I think we need to get over the fact that neither Bush nor Kerry were "war heros." Yes, they both served in some capacity and Kerry's Vietnam service is far more questionable than he'd like us to believe.

This is more of a media feeding frenzy than a real campaign issue. There's so much more at stake.
