Having difficulty understanding why Disney is waiting to post rates for the end of the year. One would think that they would want "guaranteed" guests rather than anticipating bookings. I see that some of the campsites have already announced deals into early next year. Have called CRO and CM's have told me that the rates are "already great" for early December.

Anyone have an insight as to when they might post Nov/Dec rates. Hoping that it isn't after FTP expires. Your input is appreciated. Thanks.

Based on what I've read on these boards and elsewhere most WDW regulars believe Disney will wait until after the FTP expires to release deals through the end of the year. If you look at it from Disney's perspective this makes sense. They want to see what the anticipated profits will be from FTP once the deadline expires vs. the availability through the end of the year before they determine what type of new deals to offer.
