Mar 18 - 4nts WL -$179 (AP rate)
Mar 22 - 4nts AKL - $174 (AP rate)
Mar 26 - 6nts BC - $439 (no AP rate) Yikes!

Update: Decided to balk at the $439. In Canadian funds it's a king's ransom. Instead got PO for $109 + tax.

I think the BC includes tax and the first two don't. Anyway, there was nothing at YC or BC for that week on AP. WL and AKL were no problem. Is YC/BC more popular or do they just alott less AP rooms?

YC/BC are popular, due to Stormalong Bay and the location, but you're also looking for 6 nights, and it's possible that all but one or two of those nights were available at AP rates. You might ask CRO or your travel agent to check for each night separately, and then break the 6 nights up into a couple of reservations (some at full rate and some at AP rate) --- if this is feasible. And, always keep checking. Room availability changes all the time at Disney.

Your choice of a moderate is a very popular one. Just a thought --- a lot of people like to end their trip in a deluxe resort instead of starting out there and then (possibly) being disappointed if switching to a moderate. Just something to consider, but you might not want to bother with changing your reservations that are already set. Perhaps BC is available in the middle of your stay, anyway. Have a great trip! You're staying in wonderful resorts!

Kda,

We did check each individual night at the YC/BC. Nothing.

As for the big finish, the WL and AKL nights had previously been booked, then were rolled over to AP. They couldn't push those nights to the end of the trip and get AP. It appears that second week was much busier. So we left them and went PO. Even adding a couple extra nights at AKL wasn't possible.

wtg2000 --- you're a pro! You've tried all the standard things, but there's still the possibility that people will change their reservations and some rooms MIGHT become available with AP discount or some other code. Perhaps that week is a big one for school vacations in some states. In any event, you have a wonderful trip planned and are staying at great resorts. You'll have time to really enjoy the resorts and all the different things Disney and Orlando has to offer.
