Can anyone tell me if rates are better in Feb we are going Feb 1 to the 11th, we are por thru shades of green with my daughter
her husband is in military, I really want to stay at the mansions but I know we are probably at the bayoo. thanks

I don't know if I understand your question.

I don't know how SOG works, but you're checking in during value season, so your rates are automatically the cheapest for Disney Hotels, but I have NO idea how SOG works. Maybe somebody else can give you a better answer.

I too am unsure of your question. However, I was uder the impression that your rates at SOG depended on your rank. As Snacky stated, Feb is value season so the rates should be very good. If you like the mansion side of POR, call and ask for a room there. They may say no, but they could always say yes!!

If you have reservations under SoG the price is the same no matter what time of year you book it. The only time SoG rates fluctuate is if you are booking overflow rooms. These prices are determined by the season - Value, Peak, or Regular. The standard fees of SoG are determined solely by rank and remain the same throughout the year.

If you are an E-5 or below, you should be getting POrleans for around $69 a nite plus tax, it increases by $20 increments depending on rank. You will pay more if it is an overflow room. Sometimes a discount through the AP, Florida's resident, or AAA can beat the overflow prices of SoG, but I don't think you can do better than the standard rate if you are an E-5 or below. However if you are a higher rate you may do better with the discounts at value season.

Also even though the sponsor is eligible to book 3 rooms, ONLY the first one has the lower price. The additional 2 rooms are priced at the next level. So again, if you have a higher rank and you are going value season, you might want to check for discounts.
