Hey Everyone,

Ok, we are planing a trip to WDW Dec 31-Jan 6. We will arrive on the Dec. 31st, so I was thinking to make two separate reservations. One for Dec. 31st only then one for Jan. 1-6. Does this sound like a good idea since value season starts on January 1st of 2003. I am thinking this would save lots of money since the room rates depend on which ever season the first day of your booking falls under. If this sounds like a good idea, will disney even let me do that?
Thanks,
Matt

It sounds like a great idea to me! I'm pretty sure I've seen others post about doing the same thing with no problem.

Have a great vacation!

I would check into it!
We were able to get a room at ASMo the first week of January at $55 a night with tax! (AP rate)

Hey Luv2Roam,
Were you able to get that rate for this January (2003)? Because the Disney reservations said they didn't have AP rates for January yet?
Let me know,
Matt

We've done that to save money also. We were there for 14 nights, but only the first night was peak season. of course that meant the entire stay would've been booked at a peak season rate. So we booked one night, then a second ressie at 13 nights. It saved us alot of money. BTW we didn't have to change rooms at all.

The DC rates are out for January, but not the AP rates. I am going to wait for the AP rates. My understanding is WDTC handles DC doscounts. CRO handles AP discounts.
I am not expecting the AP rate for next year to come out until near the end of this year. I figure on at least a couple months yet. And hopefully ASMo will participate!
You can book now, and just get the AP rate later, as long as it is available.
