Rates for 2009 Jan vs Feb?

Eventhough rates arent out yet...can anyone tell me if rates would differ between the end of Jan vs end of Feb?? We are trying to decide which month to go and thought we'd enjoy the end of Feb but if Jan rates are better we might go then. I did hear that Super Bowl is going to affect crowds though...would it affect room rates?

The rates will be the same til mid Feb (before Presidents week) I think value season this year ended on Feb 14th, but i went the week AFTER presidents week and although it was not value, the crowds were great!! However not sure what is going on this year but there is alot going on in Jan to make it crowder(MLK weekend, Marathon, And the end of Jan would be Superbowl weekend in Florida) So probably if you decide on Feb go the first 2 weeks.

The end of January has always been Value season. The end of February has been Peak season. So that is quite a bit of difference in money.

When I called to make my room ressie for January the CM told me that they don't know when Value season is going to be this year. So, I don't know if they have to say that or if something is going to change this year. . .

they probably have to say that until the rates are published next month, but from the last few years, Value season ended Mid Feb. But who knows what they are going to do now?

Yeah, I am a little concerned about what is going to happen in 2009 with all the rumors out there. . .
