I know right? Especially when it's our first competition and there's 22 competitors. The thing is i'm practically kicking myself because i took him around the X-country at our stables the day before we went to the comp and my gawd he was practically flying and so frigging fast! Well it's a different story, it's not his turf and he was so confused he's never been to a competition off of our yard he was slow and stubborn, he looks like he's angelic and he's doing it to look after me but when you've had this pony and trained him to fly over 3ft 3 fences you get pretty pissed. I've never been in it to win not even before i had him but i know if he'd been like he was on home turf he's have won by miles. that thought is eating me. I rode my best(it got me fourth). but it's always easy to say i could have done more after It's strange tho i never used to get placed, you give me one hell of a nightmare pony make me train him for 8 months then send me to shows and tell me i won't get placed well i've never walked away from a show empty-handed!
