Rate the Shows

My family (me, DH, and Twin DDs age 2) want to hear back from everyone about the various shows. Since we can't see everything, we want to know what your opinions are. Please rate the shows listed with the following ratings. If I don't have something listed that you want to add and give an opinion on (good or bad), I will welcome it.

5 - Can't miss! Must see!
4 - Really good. Try to see
3 - OK. Go if the crowd isn't too bad.
2 - I wouldn't stand in line for it.
1 - Waste of time. Not even worth sitting there to rest and get out of the heat.

Here are the shows we are most interested in hearing about. Please keep in mind that we have two 2yos so if you hated it, but the kids around you loved it, please note that in your comments. (and vice versa)

If you go to Crush, have your little dudettes memorize a cute question so they aren't silent if Crush talks to them.

Great question! DH and I don't have kids, so I'm not sure how helpful our opinions are though! I suppose we're big kids at heart though

Beauty and the Beast Live - 4 - probably more for girls
Festival of the Lion King - 5 - I get chills everytime
Tarzan Rocks - 5 for me, but it might be loud for kids. See it before it's gone though!

Not to rate the shows, but the best advice we can give is to bring earplugs for your twins. Some of those shows can be a little loud and they will enjoy it so much more if their ears are protected.

Mickey's PhilharMagic - on a scale of 1-5 it would get a 6 from me, this show is incredible and my favorite ride of last trip, every kid in the theater loved it, it's just a magical experience

Turtle Talk with Crush - didn't do it but looks cute, more appealing to kids, seemed like a waste of time to me as an adult

Playhouse Disney - 4, very very cute, kids love this one

Voyage of the Little Mermaid - 3, as a giant Little Mermaid fan i'd say it's a must see but the lines can get a little long and it does have some dark parts, it's older so it's not as high tech as others

Beauty and the Beast Live - 3, it follows the plot of the movie and is well done but not broadway quality (obviously), it's a nice break and if it works into your schedule i'd say go see it

Festival of the Lion King - 3, once again if it fits into your schedule i'd go see it, it has audience participation which is cool, your kids might really like that (making animal noises etc)

Tarzan Rocks - 2, personally, i didn't really like this one, i was around 14 when i saw it and haven't been back since, i think there are more exciting things to do around AK than see this show

Hmmm... many of my favorite attractions (including rides) are listed here so I will try to restrain my enthusiasm...

1) Mickey's PhilharMagic - MK - Ona scale of 1 to 5, this is a 10 in my book! hehe I lost count when I saw this for the 6th time last week.

2) Turtle Talk with Crush - Epcot - I think your twins would really like this one. Very cute for the kids! I would give it a 4.

3) Playhouse Disney - MGM - Have not seen it.

4) Voyage of the Little Mermaid - MGM - I love the puppetry in this one, especially when you realize there are a lot of people on the stage in the dark making it all look easy. Definite 4!

5) Beauty and the Beast Live - MGM - I enjoyed this show but it was not my favorite. I would rate it a 3.

6) Festival of the Lion King - AK - Definite 5! Soo good!

7) Tarzan Rocks - AK - This is my favorite live show in all of the World. I am soo sad that it is closing. If you have not seen it before I would say it is a definite 5. For me it will be a 5 no matter how many times I see it. The live singing of the music from Tarzan is just so powerful to me.

With 2 year olds, Ursula might be a bit scary, Fantasmic might be a bit loud, and Indiana Jones might be a bit boring, but it depends on your kids.

Mickey's PhilharMagic - MK - absolutely a 5. You ALL will love it!

Turtle Talk with Crush - Epcot - sorry, haven't seen it yet, but am looking forward to it. From what I've read & heard, you're 2 year olds will love it.

Playhouse Disney - MGM - Can I give it a 10? Do NOT miss it!

Voyage of the Little Mermaid - MGM - 4. I personally love this show, but at 2, I don't know how much they are "into" the little mermaid, and it does get a little scary (dark, loud) for a short time.

Beauty and the Beast Live - MGM - 5. This show is excellent & a must see. Get there early and you'll enjoy the pre show.

Festival of the Lion King - AK - 5, 6, 7, 8 - AWESOME!! And it'll keep your children entertained the whole time!

Tarzan Rocks - AK - I know there are a lot of differing opinions about this show, but we love it. I'd say 4. If you can, sit in the second section back, but in the first row. The kids will have great seats for the skaters & they'll probably get some good interraction.

You'll have a BLAST at WDW with your children no matter what!

Festival of the Lion King - AK - 3 I know many love it, but we were luke warm on it. Even with our DDs in the parade.

Tarzan Rocks - AK - 4 We thought this was fun

Festival of the Lion King and Philarmagic are the definite standouts of the group. Those two get 6/5. I think the rest of them are pretty much comparable, though I haven't seen Playhouse Disney or Turtle Talk.

I think the reason most people don't like Tarzan Rocks is because the music is really cheesy. Which I agree with, it's one of the worst Disney soundtracks ever. BUT, in terms of a quality stage show, it's excellent. There are acrobats, skaters, dancers, singers, a REALLY cool set, very cool lighting and sound, overall a very good stage show that would be right up there with FOLK and Philharmagic if it had a better soundtrack to accompany it. I'd say see it, because cranking out this kind of stuff every hour on the hour, every day of the year is something ONLY Disney can do.

Tarzan Rocks - AK - 2 music was really loud. Plus it was a matter of expectations, I went expecting tarzan and it was alot of skating and trick riding etc. Music gave me a headache so I didn't enjoy it much
