Has anyone else seen it? My dd and dh just left the theater and said it was out of this world. I stayed home with the baby. Now I wish that I had gone too. I have to see it:woohoo:!

Just wondering what everyone thinks.

We saw it a couple of weeks ago when they did a sneak preview. DS (just turned four in April) loved it.

We also saw it two weeks ago at the sneak preview. We absolutely loved it--it's way better than Cars. Even my 10 y/o said he "loved it" and can't wait for it on DVD.

We're going to the drive in tonight to see it...I can't wait! :woohoo:

An absolutely delightful movie. DKs 9 and 7 both loved it, too. Soundtrack is amazing and will be picking one up soon. Had to explain ending to DKs but it did not detract from their enjoyment of the movie in the least. Really was a very sweet movie. :thumbsup2

I am interested, too!

Would a 3.5 year old enjoy (& get) it?

I just saw a matinee of Ratatouille with my kids (3 1/2 and 6) today. Loved it!

My kids both enjoyed it, though I think my oldest got more out of it. There's nothing overly scary which is nice for a younger child. It is a little long (2 hours) and not action-packed, so my little guy was asking when it would be over towards the end of the movie. He understood the plot and really laughed hard at some of the scenes, though. As long as your 3 1/2 year old has a good attention span, she should be fine. :thumbsup2

We took in the early show today, with my 4 and 5 year olds. They loved it. They aren't well behaved in the movies, but today they got the biggest kick out of Mom dropping their popcorn all over the floor. popcorn:: so I had to refill their container out of mine..:rotfl: Poor kids...
The movie was really cute. A little long, but cute

Dh & I took our ds, 6, to see it this afternoon. It was good. I thought the animation was great. The rats really looked furry, almost like looking at a puppet, but better. It was a little long (ds's butt was hurting near the end:) ). Ds really liked it. It isn't really scary, although there was one bit that I didn't care for that had to do with a store selling rat poison. Other than that, it was a fun movie.

:thumbsup2 We just got back from seeing this at DD. It was wonderful!! My 9yo DS really loved it. We all did. We are huge Pixar fans and we were all disappointed in Cars but Pixar is definitely back with this movie. You can't go wrong with this one!:thumbsup2

We're with everyone else. I took my kids (3.5 and 7) today and we all loved it. It was a little long for what dd is used to, but it definitely held her attention. We saw Surf's Up on Wed., and like it, but this beat it to pieces!

I agree. Ratatouille gets back to the good ol' fashioned story telling PIXAR is famous for. My husband refused to see the movie because, well, it's about a...a rat!
Actually, I'm thinking of having a cake made on my next trip to WDW and have a picture of Remy on the cake. I would eat it, but I know my husband wouldn't! :rotfl:

My mother took my 3 and 6 year old to the movie. When they came home my 11 month old was acting crazy ( as babies do) and my 6 year old said - "quiet , I killed a man with this thumb" . Now she said that was in the movie!
I did not see it, but had to tell her twice "don't say that again"
it is kind of like open season which is not disney, but uses the word "bahookie"(sp) instead of But*. I don't mind that , but whe nmy 6 year old says her brother is a pain in her "bahookie" to another mom, It is time to put the DVD away for a while.

I guess i'll be the one nay-sayer in the group. I DID think the animation was outstanding! I thought it was S-L-O-W going for the most part. There were some laugh out loud moments, for sure. BUT Cars was so much better than this movie!

My kids (3 &6) liked it overall, but it's way too long for them to sit because it didn't hold their interest throughout. I'm glad I saw it, but I won't be buying the DVD. Sorry.

.

You are not the only one, we ( DS8, DD7 and me) agree. We liked this movie alot and the animation was great but we LOVED Cars

I think it was Patootie that was used. Linguini asked why it was called Ratatouille...He said it sounds like Rat and Patootie..."Rat Patootie"...Who'd want to eat Rat Patootie?:lmao:
