Rat Terrier anyone?--Picked out our puppy today!!--Updated with picture

Ok, the kids went outside to play. Here is a couple pictures. They were the best I could do with her running around.

This isn't her but she looks a lot like this dog. Someone else suggested she might be more manchester terrier, mom and dad look more like Rat Terriers, mom is probably purebred, dad might be a bit of a mix. Her nose isn't quite as big so I don't know if it will get as big as a "real" manchester? Who knows?

That picture is almost identical to our rat, Bart. Bart is about 8 years old, 12 pounds, very energetic and very athletic. I actually think a run would be too much for Bart, cause when we do a brisk walk, it's like a run for him. Bart can walk on his hind legs further than I have ever seen a dog do and jump higher. Bart has gotten into the sink from the floor in one jump to get to DW's roast that was thawing out there. I have seen many rats with cropped ears and tail, but Bart is au natural, his tail is curled almost like a pig's. He can be a bit protective of us and a little yappy when the bell rings, and he does shed quite a bit, but it isn't long hair, or a lot of it. I think it's a very cool breed of dog, and DW is always looking for another. Good luck with your puppy.

Too cute! Love Dash's costume! Which came first, the costume or the name? I am always amused that I have a dog that I actually put clothes on!

The name came first, but it was after the boy in the Incredible's movie, so when I saw another dog here on the Dis wearing that shirt I knew it would be perfect for our Dash and ordered it.
