I just love the new features of the Disney website and that you can book excursions/Palo/spa, etc. before the cruise. My question is - I saw you could put somethings on your "wish" list and I am assuming those are the things you can then reserve when the time comes, but I didn't see the Rasul/Surial Bath listed. Is this hard to reserve or will I have a good opportunity when I board? The reason I am asking is I am planning on using Disney transportation to the port and I know it gets there a little later.

I think...I could be wrong cuz I have never done the surial bath....but I think that it is just an on going thing, you come and go as you please, whether you purchase a week pass or a day pass. So I don't think you would need ressies for this.

Favorite auntie - that's the rainforest room you're talking about.

for the rasul/surial you have to have a time. I know people were talking about it last week not being there. do a search for it and those threads should come up

I'm not sure if you can use the new website feature to book the Rasul eventually, but we didn't have any problems booking the Rasul onboard in February... we really enjoyed it too! ;)

I was hoping to book the Rasul/Surial online and wasn't able to. I did get my Palo brunch reservation though! I'll have to just keep checking to see if they add advance ressies for the Rasul/Surial.

FYI for anyone who hasn't done it: It is HOT in there--and I mean hot to the touch even. We couldn't even stay our whole allotted time. We were really looking forward to it, but I wouldn't do it again.

It is hot, but there are hoses with cold water in each of the 3 seating area -- we just left the cold water running on our feet and it was wonderful. Maybe I'm in the minority here, but DH and I both said we would do this one again!!! If you have any ???s, let me know. I'm always happy to help out!

Note: the surial/rasul is not available on the "at sea" day. I found this out to my extreme disappointment as my wife and I were sitting in the rainforest room and she let me know she was "in the mood". I raced back to reception to try to book the surial bath, but we were at-sea. Curses!

(This is spelled out in more detail in my 5/8 trip report on the reports board, FYI.)

We booked it for a sea day on our cruise in March (Magic Western). We booked it at the spa on the day we boarded for the Monday sea day.

We also did this on sea day of our 4-day last January. They do occassionally have problems with the Surial rooms, or maybe they were all booked up and you misunderstood?

We also loved the experience! We do it again in a heartbeat.

Well, yes it was uncomfortable. If you bump up against one of the pipes, you might burn your buns. ;) It did get hot around your feet too. I wish I'd known about the cold water DisneyBride speaks of.

Don't get me wrong, it wasn't awful. We thought we'd have some pleasant couple time together there. We were glad we tried it, but we didn't spend any extra time in there :rolleyes1 . I think I'll do the rainforest room instead next time.

Oh! One more good thing about the Surial -- I loved all the products they have in the shower part. Muds and scrubs and good stuff. They were fun to try.

JJsmama -- as much as we enjoyed it, I will admit that I thought there would be more room...to a....sit as a couple :lovestruc but nope - the seats are "room for one only". Oh well!

so there's no room to lay down...to have your DH rub all that mud/oil stuff on your back...for a massage, etc.? :flower:

Here is a suggestion we got here on the disboards....take ice cold bottled water with you and ask for extra towels! ;) We did!

Ouch! The floor is VERY uncomfortable!!! ...even with the extra towels... ;)
There is room for one person but imagine a bench seat that is long enough for two people to SIT but only wide enough for one (smaller) person to lay down. And the seat is tile -- a little hard on the buns!
