My hubby and I did the Rasul on the Wonder last week, and the CM told us they would knock when we had 10 minutes left. Well after a while we heard a knock, and I was suprised because I knew 40 minutes had not passed. I said, 'Yes", and then she opened the door and started to walk in!!!! Hello- we were not 'ready for company' !!! I about knocked her over when I slammed the door shut. She said, 'Oh, sorry -just wanted to see if everything was OK'. I asked if we only had 10 minutes left, and she said no, that we still had about 20 minutes left.

It was not the CM that had checked us in, so I am not sure what her purpose was in opening the door, but be warned. It can happen......

On the happy side... It was wonderful!! I strongly recommend it -even with unexpected company!!

Back whe it was called the Sureil (sp?) Bath.......DH and I decided that a good suggestion would be to take a water proof watch with you so you KNOW what time it is, and won't be wondering if your Magical experince took 2 minutes or 20 :lmao:

(while this wouldn't have helped in your situation.........someone might find this handy)

Oh that is very odd. Maybe she was a newer employee and didn't know the exact procedures.

We were thinking of trying this next week...have a few issues with the room already but with the thought of someone walking in...my decision has been made...think I will keep the "magic" in my cabin LOL Hope you all enjoy your experience!

Does anyone have a picture of what the inside of the room looks like?

she might of seen you two earlier checking in and likes what she seen and wanted a better look

Maybe she wanted to ADD to the MAGIC. :confused3

:rotfl: too funny...

I'm self concious enough, but wow....may just skip the massage and stick to the stateroom, but my luck the porter will walk in (do they have those little DND signs? hehe)

Well you know, the online description used to mention the fact that it is perfect for two or three! :lmao:

You know the Passporter has the same wording.... for one to three persons. I thought that was soooooo odd. ;)

On the Do Not Disturb signs. In the Disney software package I bought, to decorate our door, there was a door hanger sign template. I took it and added a nice blue backround. Then I added a picture of Ariel in the row boat with prince Eric. Then under the picture was the caption "If this boats a rockin, don't come a knockin". I made that as a do not disturb sign for our Magic cruise in 2005. Out of respect for the kids in the hallways I kept it on the inside of the door as a joke for my wife and friends that came to our room. Are there door knobs on the outside of the Rasul? :rotfl2:

I LOVE the do not disturb sign idea! Made me laugh out loud. Thanks! Lisa

There is a lock on the inside of the rasul, which I thought was great. Except, she opened it right up from the outside, no problem. (Kind of defeats the purpose of a lock, don't you think?!?) :confused3

But again, don't let this stop you from trying the rasul. It really was great! And I would highly recommend it at least once! :thumbsup2

And the idea of a waterproof watch is great. Also don't forget lots of extra towels and a few bottled waters - it gets VERY steamy! :sunny:

That was too funny! You had me rolling! :rotfl2: :lmao:

On our first cruise in 2002, we travelled with several friends. One set got "walked in" on...apparantly, they just did NOT hear the 10 minute warning! She was so funny telling me about it later on! So, definitely bring your OWN watch! You could always try moving that bench with all of the products on it in front of the door to prevent accidental voyerism! :p

Thanks for sharing your "unexpected" experience. My DH and I love the Rasual and thank goodness we didn't have any "unexpected" guest show up.
