"rare" characters at MNSSHP

We went to MNSSHP a couple years back, and we're going again this year...we can't wait!

I thought it would be fun to start a thread of all the "rare" characters that we've gotten pictures with while at this special party...characters that we've never managed to pose with before!

In 2002, we got pictures with:
Pain and Panic from Hercules
Quasimodo
Big Bad Wolf

And of course, we love that some of the frequently seen characters are dressed up for Halloween too (Mickey's a scarecrow, Donald's a pumpkin, Pooh's a bumblebee, etc.)!!!

Great Thread! We went to MNSSHP last year and got pics with:

Malificent
Scrooge McDuck
Rolie Polie Olie (& Zowie! )
Stromboli
The guy from the Gargoyle cartoon (sorry, don't know his name)
The Witch from Snow White (with her apple and all! )


We were thrilled to see so many rare characters! I have to say, that's probably one of the big reasons we're going back this year!

I can't wait to hear who else you all have seen! Please, please, please keep sharing!

I saw Jiminy Cricket in Italy on my last trip. I didn't get the photo and I am now wishing I had!

You had both the Snow White Witch and Malificent there?
I've had a running joke with my mom for YEARS that she is both characters!
Since they are face characters, can they hold a baby for photos?

We were there in '03 as well, and we saw the Hag from Snow White, Maleficent, and Scrooge too! We have attended so many MNSSHP's and enjoyed every one of them!!!

The Snow Witch is actually a masked character, but the Snow Queen is indeed a face character.

Throughout our visits to WDW, we've never seen any of the villain face characters holding babies before...maybe to stay "evil," it's not encouraged?

Has anyone ever seen Cruella, Malificent, or the Snow Queen holding a baby?

My favorite thing about MNSSHP is the parade....the characters are great and my fave is the headless horseman from Sleepy Hollow who starts the parade. It is so cool to watch him ride that horse down the street!

We saw Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs all together. They don't do autographs but pose all together for pictures with you. We were really excited about getting that picture because other than in the parade we had never seen the other dwarfs other than Dopey.

Jiminy Cricket does make regular apearances now at Italy in Epcot. It's not as good as Masquerade being back but he is really cute and makes a great picture.

Last year, I went to 2 MNNSHP's at the beginning of October, and some cool characters I saw were:

Malificent
Stromboli
Scrooge
Pain and Panic
Frollo
Goliath the Gaygoyle
Phoebus and Quasimodo
Big Bad Wolf
Rolie Polie Olie and Zowie
Snow Witch
The 6 rare dwarves (Doc, Happy, Sleepy, Sneexy, Bashful, and Grumpy!), and they all did individial photos and autographs.

I heard Gaston is a character at the party, and this year I want to find him! Can't wait!
