All right, so what character(s) have you been longing to meet, but never have for one reason or another?

For me, it would be either Malificent or Sora (from Kingdom Hearts)...both extremely rare characters! I think they're only seen during Halloween...

(Also, I've been to Disney MANY times and still keep missing Br'er Rabbit!)

We finally saw Brer Rabbit and Brer Fox last year at Splash Mountain (right by the restrooms actually). That was exciting to see a different character that we had not seen.

I was hoping last year to see Chicken Little, but didn't. I even brought the original storybook that I read to my DS's for him to sign.

Have never seen Jimney Cricket and really would like to see him. It seems he only comes out during the Flower and Garden Festival.

Back in 2001 we saw the Llama from Emperor's New Groove. My DH didn't want to wait and I am glad we did because have not seen him since.

I agree that Malificent and Sora would be great to see more. My DS (8) would really be into that. He was still into the characters last trip but is less and less. Villians/more boy-oriented ones would increase the magic pirate: How about a Capt. Jack?

I didn't even realize there WAS a Sora! My wife and I would LOVE to see him...

Not as rare as some, but ... Pocahontas. It's probably due to the fact that she's not considered a "true" Disney Princess and obviously isn't a character in high demand, but you can only catch her at Camp Minnie-Mickey for M&G and occasionally at Rafiki's Planet Watch, but even that's once in a blue moon. What's worse is that I was extremely hard-pressed to find any Pocahontas-themed merch in Downtown Disney or anywhere else on my last trip. It's was very disappointing. :sad2: It's discrimination against non-princess female characters! :rotfl:

Jiminy comes out on Earth Day to at MK too. That's where I saw him.

Have met Pochantas over at Rafiki Planet Watch, she was great, super nice to my DS(4 at the time)

Yet to see Brer anything, DS5 would love to meet Brer Rabbit. Splash Mountain is his #1 ride. Still yet to catch up with Daisy Duck. Rabbit from Winnie The Pooh would go down well with DS5 too. My DH is hoping to bump into Kim Possible, and I know he would like to them to have Jessica Rabbit available for meet and greets!

Pocahontas was at the CRT breakfast - she was very chatty and spent lots of time with our kids, asking if we arrived by canoe and where our tribe was, yadda yadda.

I know I've seen her somewhere else, too. Hmm - Have to think about that.

I loved, loved, loved seeing the Lost Boys from Peter Pan at the Boo To You parade last year. The skunk boy had the voice PERFECTLY and said "How, TigerLily" to my daughter, who was dressed up. I think the Lost Boys made our night. :)

I'd love to see anyone from the Emperor's New Groove. I hope that they bring some of those out again soon!

I would love to see Daisy! It seems like she is only out during a parade or special event :confused3

and I, too, want to see a Kim Possible - c'mon Disney!! She's been hot for years now. Our kids would much rather see Kim than any Incredible.

Isn't Jiminy Cricket the official spokesman for Environmentality?

I would love to see Scrooge McDuck. Unca Scrooge is one of my friends' favorite characters and I would love to take a picture to send him.

I met Pocahontas at Crossroads in DS, but I haven't seen Jiminy since I was a kid. He's here in NYC for a little while at the World of Disney. :)

For me, it would be Brer Fox or Shang, Mulan's boyfriend. I am not sure if Brer Fox gets out much if at all nowadays, but Shang is here and there but I never seen him. Other rare ones include those VERY unusual Bug's Life characters like Francais Ladybug, Tuck, and Roll. :)

Daisy eludes us as well! Maybe she has her weekends off ;) - as the majority of time we are at the parks are on the weekends or evenings.

I finally got Jiminy on Earth Day.

I would love to see the dwarves... all seven would be wonderful, but I will take any! Thus far, I have only been able to blow kisses to Dopey from afar in the parades!

Kim and Ron are pretty regular as far as I have seen at MGM now. They have scheduled times in the times guide, and usually are on the Streets of America.

Would love to see Jessica Rabbit, doubt it will happen, but one can hold out hope. Also would love to see Gaston and Malificent. One can never get enough villians.

I too would love to see Sora from Kingdom Hearts... I remember reading that in years past he has been in the Timekeeper lobby during the Halloween Parties... I hope we see him there during MNSSHP on September 22 as well as lots of villains (especially Meleficent)!

Sora was only out at MNSSHP in 2004 - hasn't been seen since.

Maleficent was out last year. :)

MightyAphrodite - 12/2004 we saw Pocahontas at Liberty Glade at MK, but I'm not sure if that area is still being used.
