I'm going to DL this Sunday and my daughter really really hopes to meet Rapunzel. I understand that the Tangled show has been replaced by Frozen. Does anyone have any current info as to if/when we can meet Rapunzel?
Thanks!

I would be interested in the anwer to this question as well, rapunzel is my 3 year old's favorite even more then else (didnt know that was possible these days lol)

When we were there in January, there was a princess meet & greet right outside where they show the Frozen show near the castle. The princess we met were Merida, Rapunzel and Aurora. If the one you want isn't there, just ask the handler by the line for info. They can't really give specifics as to who will be out next, or the exact time they will change, but they will give you as much info as they can. For example, we really wanted to meet Merida, and the first day we tried, it was raining very lightly off and on throughout the day, and she said Merida won't meet on rainy days because her hair gets to wild. Haha. There is also an inside meet and greet right next door that has the princess who are currently there listed on a plaque. We didn't go in, but the ones we saw listed were Cinderella, Snow White and Belle.

Thanks for the info. I have so much to learn.

Does Rapunzel always make an appearance at the Magical Map?

I should have asked, but were you hoping to meet Rapunzel or would just seeing her from a distance be enough? If it's the latter, then she is featured in the Mickey and the Magical Map show, as well as the Soundsational Parade. You won't be able to meet her (i.e., pose for photos with her or get her autograph), but she is featured so you can see her.

With all the Frozen craze, it seems to have cut back a little on other princess showings. The "secret" Rapunzel meet and greet after the show was a great way for the kids to talk to the characters. Hopefully, Rapunzel is still popular enough that they put her in as a regular at Fantasy Faire. And be sure to get a photo at the stone model of Rapunzel's tower right in the middle of that princess area.

We'd really like to meet. So it sounds like our best chance is to hope that Rapunzel is one the characters at the Fantasy Faire. Do the characters change throughout the day?

Just for clarification, there are two locations to meet characters at Fantasy Faire. There is the Royal Hall, where you normally meet three different princesses in series. Who is in the Royal Hall is usually posted on a sign outside of the Hall (near the entrance to the queue). Sometimes it'll list all three, other times it'll list two and the last slot will be blank or say something like a royal friend.

The other location is outside the Hall, near the end of the walkway/bridge. It's across from the Royal Theater. You'll see a large umbrella to the right when you face the Royal Hall. Usually there are no signs posted for this one indicating who is there or who will be there, but this is probably your best bet for Rapunzel. Previously, she (with Flynn), Merida, and Belle rotated through this outside location at various times during the day.

First time to disney... do you know what the normal wait for this durning non spring break/holiday trip. Last week of april to be exactly. Im just wondering if this is something that should be my first stop when entering the pack (rope drop) because my toddlers really want to see princess and mickeys house! Also are these two things available during MM.

On our last trip last month we met rapunzel while getting of the dumbo ride. There is a dumbo cart for pictures by the exit for the ride. She was just standing there greeting people. we saw her there for most the day. I'm not sure if this is her spot. But it's worth the try.

Thanks everyone! Great responses. I really appreciate. This forum is certainly more magical than the fantasy baseball forums that I frequent

Just wanted to provide an update. We saw Rapunzel outside of the Princess Faire. At Merida's station right by the entrance. It seemed that it was actually a rotation of princesses (saw Merida, then Rapunzel, then Ariel)

I'm glad to hear that your family got to meet Rapunzel! Thank you for reporting back. :goodvibes

Oh GOD I want to meet Merida so bad... I hope she's there in October. And Rapunzel too... ack! So many princesses, so little time...

If Merida is now at the Fantasy Faire, does anyone know if any Princesses do M&G at Merida's old spot near IASW? Or is that area unused now?

When I was there last, the area where Merida used to meet wasn't being used by anyone as a meet and greet anymore.
